Rich Girl Attends Antibes Yacht Show 2011
April 15, 2011 by Rich Girl
Filed under Rich Photos, Rich Travel
I have just returned from my trip to French Riviera where I was lucky to spend one week on Antibes Yacht Show 2011.
Antibes Yacht Show is the first major yacht show of the season and is held in the port of Vauban, which is the largest port in Europe and this year there were 36 superyachts on display. This was my first time on the Antibes Yacht Show and I loved it. The show was wonderful, very well organized, a lot of amazing yachts and boats to look at as well as impressive list of participating companies.
For me this show was all about champagne and rose wine and after parties. Well, life is beautiful when you are in the yachting industry. My days started and ended with champagne with hors d’œuvre in different places through out the show and I can’t say I didn’t like it. Although, after consuming so much of wine I was just drinking water in a plane on my way back home.
So, going to yacht shows is always so much fun, you meet interesting people whether it is the owner of the yacht or it’s captain. Oh, this reminds me that I still haven’t told you about my trip to Monaco Boat Show 2010, where I bumped into mister Abramovich. Please remind me to tell you about Monaco next time, I have some really interesting and intriguing memories to share.
I have met some nice and interesting people during Antibes Yacht Show 2011 as well. For, example, Maik van Zoggel the director of the Dutch company – YachtsXL. The company makes amazing videos of yachts, boats and everything which falls into this category. Good quality videos of a yacht is a great way of advertising it for potential buyers or people interested in charter.
I have spent some time on the YachtsXL stand, talked to a lot of interesting people, laughed, enjoyed some sushi and great rose wine. Guys at YachtsXL are very friendly and professional, so the next time you will need a video of your yacht or company contact them first. They are great!
The other stand I want to point out from the Antibes Yacht Show 2011 is the one by Corkers Fine Wines & Provisions. The guys on the stand were very generous, they offered numerous tastings for their exquisite white and rose wines as well as provided some other stands with free bottles. This company is a specialist supplier to the yachting industry with over 30 years experience, has extensive range of world class wines and highly competitive prices.
Every evening there was live music and drinks at a “Crew Lounge”, organized by the Bluewater. This lounge was packed with people every evening and was a great place to make new contacts in a relaxed atmosphere.
One of the most busiest stands during the show was Dovaston Crew – a world leader in the placement of professional crew. Dovaston Crew has office in Antibes and one night they organized drinks there.
So many people wanted to come for a drink, that they couldn’t even fit inside. Thankfully the weather was amazing and there was a happy crowd outside the office.
The other busy stand was Lloyds TSB International, very friendly team of professionals was helping crew members to open their offshore international bank accounts.
There were also other parties, like barbeque for the crew, cocktail party for the exhibitors, Captains’ Dinner and other. As I told you, it was really hard to stay focused and sober
If you ask me what yacht did I like the most during my time on the show, I would definitely say – Dilbar! It looks just the way I want my yacht to look one day. I haven’t been inside that yacht yet, because the yacht was not among the show participants, but I bet it is as grand inside as it looks from the outside.
So, Antibes Yacht Show 2011 was an amazing event, time flied so fast. At first, when I was just going there I thought what am I going to do for almost a week on a show, but it turned out that every day was filled with different and exciting things to do and people to meet.
The last thing I want to tell you, rich girls, about Yacht Shows is that yachting industry is a man’s world. And it means that if you are still single and planning to find the man of your dreams preferably with the yacht, you need to hurry up and order tickets to the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show 2011 which will be in the end of September. Also, if you still haven’t decided what career path to take, I would suggest you look into possibility of being a stewardess on a yacht. It’s fun, you live and eat on a yacht, you hang around cool people and you can save lots of money, because the salary is good and you can only spend it on your shopping while on shore, how cool is that?!
If you decide to try your chances as a stewardess then I suggest you turn to Bluewater for training first and after that Dovaston Crew will help you find the perfect yacht to work for.
Have you ever been to a yacht show before? What do you think about it? How you choose your next yacht for charter?
If you have any questions, I would love to hear back form you! Let’s have a conversation in the comments below.

Oscars 2011 Dresses Picked By Rich Girl
March 2, 2011 by Rich Girl
I have spent almost the whole day searching for the dresses I might like from the Oscars Red Carpet 2011. Since I haven’t seen the ceremony this year (I’ve spent amazing weekend in Seville instead), it was hard for me to figure out who was attending and who wasn’t. For example, I was disappointed to know that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were not attending any of the Oscars events. Such a shame! Red Carpet really missed the perfect girl with taste and grace.
I don’t know what you girls think about the dresses that celebrity girls have chosen to wear for the 83rd Academy Awards Red Carpet, but I must say I was disappointed. The stylists now try to convince everyone that the simplest the better, but I think this is BORING! Like this girl, Jennifer Lawrence, wearing Calvin Klein red dress and everyone going crazy about it. Hello, people?! This is the most boring dress I have ever seen. Ok, the girl does have a really great body, but this is not the dress for the major event of the industry! Or, am I missing something?
It looked like the most of the girls were so afraid to appear in the worst dressed section of different magazines and online resources, that they have just decided not to risk at all, go with the classic and simple look, just to be on the safe side. Well, these girls will definitely won’t appear on the Rich Girl’s Club pages with such attitude
Let’s get back to the best dresses from the 83rd Academy Awards Red Carpet according to the Rich Girl. Unfortunately this list won’t be as long and interesting as the one I did for the Golden Globes 2011, because most of the dresses were lacking imagination.
The best looking girl on the Oscars 2011 to my mind was Camila Alves – model and mother of 2 kids with Matthew McConaughey. I loved how the black Kaufman Franco dress looked on her on the Red Carpet…

… and the Zuhair Murad Spring 2011 Couture gown she had chosen for the Vanity Fair party.

Returning to the Red Carpet, the other two girls I liked were Halle Berry in nude and crystal encrusted Marchesa corset gown and Hilary Swank in Gucci Premiere couture dress. There was something magical about these dresses, they looked like fairy princesses.

And that’s about it from the Red Carpet for me. Very sad, I was looking forward to at least have ten favorite dresses from the Oscars 2011. To my delight there were some interesting dresses on the Oscars after parties.
I really loved Gwyneth Paltrow and the suntan dress by Michael Kors, which she was wearing for the Vanity Fair party.

I also loved Atelier Versace gown with Swarovski crystal detailing which Charlize Theron wore for the Vanity Fair party…

… and Eva Mendes in custom Donna Karan black dress at the same party.

This is about it, I haven’t found the best and perfect dress from the Oscars 2011, but I did find the cutest couple – Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez
Aren’t they two adorable little teenagers?!

7 Clutch Bags to Light Up Any Christmas Outfit
December 8, 2010 by Rich Girl
Hello, Rich Girls! I hope your preparations for Holiday celebrations are going smoothly. I always leave everything to the last minute and now starting to be a little stressful, but again, it’s just me.
Today, I wanted to share with you my 7 favorite clutch bags for the festive season. As you know, your bag doesn’t need to match your shoes anymore, so be creative, noticed and add some sparkle to your Christmas or New Years outfit. Of course, it doesn’t mean you need to look like a Christmas tree, everything is good to it’s limit.
Balmain Rock leather and crocodile patchwork clutch
This is my super favorite evening clutch bag so far. I love everything about it – colors, leather, patchwork! Everything about this bag makes it so special, luxurious and desirable. No surprise they are sold out already on net-a-porter.com. I guess, I am not the one who can appreciate good clutch bag.

Balmain Rock leather and crocodile patchwork clutch €2,200 (net-a-porter.com)
Bottega Veneta Intrecciato leather clutch
This pink clutch bag by Bottega Veneta won my heart because of the color, shape and sparkles. Well, this bag is just so girlie and yet chick. And did I mention the color?!

Bottega Veneta Intrecciato leather clutch €1,350 (net-a-porter.com)
Judith Leiber Small Airstream fine crystal-embellished clutch
This clutch will add a lot of shine to your black dress. It will be like a diamond in your hands. I loved it because of the crystals, but if you think about it there are a lot of similar clutch bags out there, so maybe it is not the greatest choice after all.

Judith Leiber Small Airstream fine crystal-embellished clutch €1,245 (net-a-porter.com)
Alexander McQueen Brittania Punk Skull leather clutch
Love Alexander McQueen and the skull on the bags and shoes. This particular Punk Skull clutch won my heart because of it’s shape and color, and yes, the spikes. The spikes add some fetish touch to this bag, which is sexy, in my opinion.

Alexander McQueen Brittania Punk Skull leather clutch €885 (net-a-porter.com)
Jimmy Choo Tube glitter-twill
This clutch bag from Jimmy Choo is the most convenient in terms of holding it in your arms. I am not sure, if you can fit your iPhone in this bag, but who needs phone at a party anyway. You are there to enjoy the night and drink some champagne, not to call your ex-boyfriends or whoever.

Jimmy Choo Tube glitter-twill clutch €795 (net-a-porter.com)
Marc Jacobs Alexis sequin and leather
If you still want to take your iPhone to a Christmas or New Years party, you can consider this clutch bag by Marc Jacobs. It has plenty of room in it and yet it has some sparkles. I don’t think it looks elegant, though.

Marc Jacobs Alexis sequin and leather clutch €895 (net-a-porter.com)
Valentino Bow-embellished satin clutch
And my final choice, like in my list with cocktail dresses, is again Valentino! Some Rich Girls will start thinking that I am paid by the brand
No, I am not paid by Valentino to add their stuff to my favorite lists
I just like them. And this particular clutch bag, although it doesn’t have sparkles on it and yes, it is black, I still love it. I love it because it is so feminine, elegant and chick.

Valentino Bow-embellished satin clutch €520 (net-a-porter.com)
So, here we go, these were my 7 clutch bags I picked for this Christmas and New Years parties. What do you think? What are your favorite evening clutch bags? Would love to hear back from you!
Happy Holidays!

Top 10 Coctail Dresses for Rich Christmas and New Years
December 4, 2010 by Rich Girl
Christmas and New Years are one of my favorite holidays. I love to spend Christmas quietly with my family and party hard till 7 a.m. or even later during New Years celebration. Every year I buy new dress for these occasions, for New Years because it is a must to enter new year in something completely new and for Christmas, just because it is a great excuse to buy a nice evening dress.
Here I wanted to share my Top 10 dresses for upcoming Christmas and New 2011 Year celebrations.
10 – Alice+Olivia Nicolette sequin bustier dress
I loved this dress for the romantic and sexy mix. The bottom of this dress is very feminine and flirty, whereas the top will definitely flatter those girls with breast sizes a little bit more than just B cup. I am lucky to have something extra in this department
Not that I want to brag about it, just saying.

Alice+Olivia Nicolette sequin bustier dress €350 (net-a-porter.com)
9 – Burberry Prorsum Lace-paneled silk dress
Well, I picked this dress, because I love very feminine and elegant stuff as much as I love everything sexy. This dress will never be out of fashion, because it is classic. Maybe a little bit boring for young girls, but definitely a great choice for Christmas party with the family.

Burberry Prorsum Lace-paneled silk dress €1,195 (net-a-porter.com)
8 – HALSTON Embellished neoprene dress
In this dress I love the skirt more than the top, but it goes amazingly together. I think this dress will be perfect for every occasion, even to Christmas party at your office (in case you work in an office, of course).

HALSTON Embellished neoprene dress €2,785 (net-a-porter.com)
7 – Jason Wu Strapless corseted lace mini dress
Oh, my! I fell in love with this dress from the first sight. This dress represents everything I love – class, chick, romance and yes, a tiny hint to sex. Lace always turns everything upside down. Love this dress.

Jason Wu Strapless corseted lace mini dress €3406.94 (net-a-porter.com)
6 – Lela Rose Ombre woven silk-blend dress
One thing I like about this dress, is the colour – it is not black! And again, this dress will be perfect for any occasion, just not black tie, obviously.

Lela Rose Ombre woven silk-blend dress €1,663.05 (net-a-porter.com)
5 – Miu Miu Embellished wool pique dress
This is the perfect dress for Christmas or New Years celebration, just look at these cute snow flakes! This dress is so adorable and yet sexy, because of the very low neck.

Miu Miu Embellished wool pique dress €1,575 (theoutnet.com)
4 – Sass & Bide Forget The Rest dress
We are slowly approaching my top 3 dresses, but now my number 4 dress. I love it because of bling-bling and the fact that this dress will do wonders to your body, it will look slimmer yet with curves, if you’ve got any of course

Sass & Bide Forget The Rest dress €1,285.74 (net-a-porter.com)
3 – Thomas Wylde Stinger crystal-embellished silk dress
Here is one of my top-top dresses! Just try to guess why I like it
If you are brave enough to wear this dress like you should, without a bra, there is no doubt you will receive looks of admiration from every single Man at the party as well as hateful stares from the other girls. Love it!

Thomas Wylde Stinger crystal-embellished silk dress €1,800 (net-a-porter.com)
2 – Versace Patent-leather strapless dress
This is a Hit dress! It is amazing! In this Versace dress you will be the center of everyone’s attention. Maybe people will forget what the food were like on the party, but they definitely won’t forget the way you looked that night! This mini dress is definitely standout. Love it, Love it!!

Versace Patent-leather strapless dress €7,509 (net-a-porter.com)
In the above listed 9 dresses you can also go to the club during New Years celebration! You can go anywhere, as long as there is party and people to admire you.
1 – Valentino One-Shoulder Voulant Gown
And the Oscar goes to… Well, the above dresses were amazing and they were all cocktail dresses, but this particular dress owns and wows my heart (even though it is not a cocktail dress, he-he). This Valentino dress is for the Queen of the Night. You will look elegant, very feminine and mysterious. I love this dress, the perfect choice for any black tie event.

Valentino One-Shoulder Voulant Gown – $7,900 (shopstyle.com)
So, here are my Top 10 dresses for Christmas and New 2011 Years celebrations. What do you think? Which one would you choose?
I would love to hear from you, as well as would love to see your selections!
Have a very happy Holiday Season, Rich Girls!

Halloween Costumes picked by Rich Girl
October 10, 2010 by Rich Girl
Halloween is just around the corner and I love dressing up during this holiday, but I still don’t have a costume!! What about you, rich girls?! Have you decided who are you going to be during this fun night?!
Thank God for internet and online shopping with delivery almost on the same day. To tell you the truth I had no idea what costume I want to wear before I started searching the Internet. The only thing I wanted to make sure was that the costume is original (not another playboy bunny, sexy kitten or a witch) and the costume needs to explain itself. I don’t want people coming up to me on the party and asking stupid question like: “Who are you pretending to be?” I want it to be clear just from the look at me and the costume. And the last thing it needs to be of a good quality.
So, I started my search based on the above mentioned criteria and, OMG!! there are so many amazing costumes out there! I still haven’t decided on the one, but I collected some of my favorites in this post, so maybe you can help me to pick one?! Just leave a comment below indicating the one costume that you think I should wear during Halloween 2010 party!
Below are the most interesting costumes I could find. You are welcome to click on the image in case you want to get more details about the costume and see more pictures.
One of the first costumes, which I like is Fantasy butterfly. I loved this costume because it is very feminine, sexy and everyone will understand who you are.

The next costume I find interesting is Avatar Neytiri costume. It seems that every person on this Planet have seen “Avatar” movie, some even more than once. It is a worldwide hit! So, you will not have trouble explaining who you are, the only problem I find in this costume is that you need to have a flawless body. Otherwise you can end up being a joke of the night. Well, at least you will grab everyone’s attention. The other problem could be since the “Avatar” is such a hit, you can have other people on the party using the same theme.
click the image to enlarge
The other costume I like, but afraid that will be used by a lot of girls this year is the idea to dress like Lady Gaga. She is the major sensation, her latest meat costume still amazes masses. I just wonder what is she going to wear on Halloween herself?
click the image to enlarge
Really cute and to my mind interesting costume is Heatbreaker Guitar. Again there will be no need to explain people who you are and I am sure you will be unique on every party. I don’t think that there will be a lot of girls out there who will think to be a guitar on a halloween, unless they are reading this post and think it’s a good idea. Also, this costume is kind of sexy!
click the image to enlarge
Ok, now there are some costumes which are super HOT! And on the plus side you will be able to wear these not only on Halloween, but also when you are alone with your special someone. There is no need in my comments to these costumes.
Nautical doll

Sexy Cabbie

Red Hot Pirate Wench
click the image to enlarge
If you are not comfortable to wear such explicit costumes in public (you can still buy them to wear at home during your games), I suggest you wear one of the following two costumes Queen of Nile or Statue of Liberty.
Queen of Nile is a very elegant and deluxe costume, the most expensive in my list. I, personally, like it very much. I think that Victoria Beckham would look amazing it this costume.
click the image to enlarge
And Statue of Liberty is the simplest costume so far, but still elegant and great choice for those girls who wear plus sizes. The idea is not new, but I doubt that there will be a lot of girls dressed as Statue of Liberty. The only downside of this costume is that both of your hands will be full and it will be hard to grab a dring or food.
click the image to enlarge
If you have a boyfriend and you are confident enough to allow him grab every girl’s attention at the party, then the best costume I could find is Genie in a Lamp!! This is sooooo cool!! I would definetely bought this costume, if I were a guy. Maybe it is a little bit inconveniet to walk in this costume, but your partner will be the man of the day, for sure!
click the image to enlarge
For those girls who have small children, I found cute little Precious Poodle costume. This is so sweet, your child will earn you a lot of sweets during treat or treating in this costume.
click the image to enlarge
Even your dog needs a costume for Halloween, so I would go for this Wonder Woman pet costume. I think it’s cute with tiny legs and arms
click the image to enlarge
Well, here is my list of great costumes for Halloween! Looking at these costumes I just can’t wait for the party to begin. In case you want to see even more costumes, I suggest you visit SpiritHalloween.com. You will get 20% Off Any Item At SpiritHalloween.com! Just use Coupon Code: SPAF20 which Expires 10/28/10
Have an amazing Halloween party this year!!
