I have always dreamt about a yacht, to sail on the Mediterranean Sea with friends and family, have fun under the sun and enjoy life. But when I started to look for the one I would love, I was frustrated to find out that the designs are almost all the same and it is really hard to find something new and modern. It was until I accidentally stumbled upon Schöpfer Yachts website. Now I have finally found the yacht of my dreams, although at the moment it is only a concept and I have no idea about the pricing yet, but at least I know what I want and where to get it.

Below is information about the boats as well as some cool pictures which I took from www.schopferyachts.com:

The Next Generation of Yacht Design

Schöpfer Yachts was founded in 2008 as a US based company dedicated to the pursuit of advanced yacht aesthetics and technology. Schöpfer Yachts is among a new breed of yacht companies, which will secure strategic alliances with the world’s finest naval architects and shipyards. This strategy will allow the flexibility to explore a wide range of design venues while insuring these designs meet and exceed the highest level of maritime standards. To that end, we are pleased to announce that Sparkman and Stephens (New York, Ft. Lauderdale and Newport) will be the naval architect for our first venture, the Oculus. As we enter the next generation of yachting design, we offer our design collection to the global yachting community and to prospective owners who share our vision of innovation and excellence.

At the moment Schöpfer Yachts on their website offer two concepts: Oculus and Infinitas

Oculus

The Oculus is a very futuristic 250-foot yacht, which can accommodate 14 guests and can travel at speeds up to 25 knots.

Infinitas

Infinitas is a 300-foot yacht with a massive recreational pool area in the middle of the ship. It accommodates 16 guests, and pretty much got everything else you might need.

Including a living room on the main deck, a dining room on the other side of the pool area. A sky bridge, kitchen, storage, helicopter platform and other cool stuff.

I guess we will be able to look stylish on the Sea now J

What do you think? Do you like such futuristic designs or you prefer more classical yachts?
