One of the great advantages of living in Marbella is that a lot of magnificent places and cities are just within a few hours drive. And my most favorite ride is always to Portugal’s most luxurious part called Algarve, which is just less than 5 hours away. So, anytime we want to have a change of scenery (and when we have no other plans), we get in a car and go to Portugal.
I love Portugal, because people are very friendly, everyone speaks English, beaches are breathtakingly gorgeous, hotels are always amazing and food is delicious! What else does a girl need, right? Oh, I forgot about shopping! :) Anyway, this weekend I was spoiled rotten by the grandeur and exceptional service in Conrad Algarve Hotel. I am telling you, nothing can compare to this brand new 5-star hotel! The room we were staying in was very spacious and tastefully decorated. It had everything you can possibly wish for during your stay – king-sized bed, 37-inch flat-screen HDTV, MP3 sound system, WiFi, security safe, individual temperature control, a fully stocked in-room bar, Nespresso coffee machine, Bugatti tea kettle, designer toiletries, soft cotton bathrobes and slippers.
I brought my laptop with me, so I literally didn’t even want to leave the room. I arranged myself comfortably on a balcony and could not imagine better office for a weekend.
But of course, as much as I wanted to spend all time in my room, there were a lot of other things to do and explore. So, on Saturday I booked myself a full body SPA treatment. I received a lot of raving reviews about the SPA, so I just couldn’t miss it. I came a little bit early for my appointment to spend some time in the relaxation area. Conrad Algarve has a very beautiful, peaceful and cozy SPA! With indoor and outdoor infinity pools, sauna and steam room and, of course, quiet place to relax after the treatment. As the weather outside was not so warm and sunny that day, it was delightful to be in sauna and heated pool. I was so relaxed that I almost fell asleep on a lounger when a masseuse called me to follow her to my treatment. I love to go to SPA and try to do it regularly, so I have experienced a lot of various massages and facials. And so far Conrad Algarve SPA treatment is the absolute best! I don’t know maybe because I was properly relaxed after a few hours in sauna and pool, but the treatment had a magnificent effect on my body. Never yet I experienced such bliss! Unfortunately I forgot to ask a name of my masseuse, I guess I was walking on air after her magic. But I will definitely want to come back again! Girls, if you will ever be in this area of Portugal, I highly recommend you Conrad Algarve SPA. You will love it!
Conrad Algarve Hotel is definitely worth staying in. I wish I could come and live here at least for one week. There is so much else I want to do, like play tennis, practice golf, dine in the hotel’s signature restaurant Gusto by Heinz Beck and just lounge by the pool and sip delicious cocktails! I am definitely coming back!
