Limited Edition Watch To Celebrate The Year Of The Monkey
According to Chinese calendar on the 8th of February starts a new year of the Monkey. I have already mentioned before that a lot of watchmakers created amazing limited edition Monkey watches to celebrate the official “ruler” of the 2016. And now there is one more addition to this list: manufacturer of prestige Swiss watches, Ulysse Nardin, has created their version.
Only 88 pieces of this watch will be available for purchase, so collectors should act fast.
I absolutely love this version of the Monkey timepiece. It never ceases to amaze me how is it possible for jewellers to draw such fine lines. Look at this delicate palm tree on the dial, it is the work of art by Donzé Cadrans – specialist luxury watch manufacture dial enameller.
You know that the palm branch is a symbol of victory, triumph, peace and eternal life? So, if on the watch dial by Chopard was monkey gathering peaches, which is believed to be good luck. Then by wearing a limited edition timepiece by Ulysse Nardin you guarantee yourself a triumphant year! What else do we need, right?
I thought that my most favourite monkey watch was by Harry Winston, but I have changed my mind now after I’ve seen this gorgeous watch by Ulysse Nardin. My new favourite timepiece for 2016!
