I was visiting my home country – Latvia, for the last 2 weeks and there was something that caught and at the same time hurt my eyes. The amount of girls wearing pleated maxi skirts was unbearable.
Everywhere I looked, I saw pleated skirts. For a second I had a feeling that every girl in Latvia is carefully following instructions from glamorous magazines, which say that pleated skirts is a huge trend this season.
Well, I am not against following the trends and pleated skirts in general, but I am definitely against looking like the dolls from the same factory. I guess I just prefer being unique than trendy.
