I really love this idea of selecting 3 luxurious things and writing about them. I even introduced new tag here on RichClubGirl.com – 3 luxe things – to make it easier for you to find all related articles. But somehow I still managed to miss it out last Wednesday :) Guess, it was really hard to decide which things to write about. And although it was still hard to choose items for this week, I decided to not over complicate everything and just select the most outstanding pieces – The Orange, Royal Fantasy Bra and Steve Martin’s St Barths estate. Here we go :
1. The Orange.
This 14.82-carat gem is the largest fancy vivid orange diamond ever offered at auction. Estimated at $21 million it was sold at a worlds’ record price of $35,540,612 ($2.4m per carat) at Christie’s Auction in Geneva. “The Orange” is the world’s largest orange diamond. It would be interesting to see this diamond in real life. Orange diamonds are extremely rare and I just wonder if I would ever be able to see, touch or own a diamond in this particular color. Dream on, dream on :)
2. Victoria’s Secret Royal Fantasy Bra
As today is the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show which is held at the Lexington Avenue Armory in New York, I am overly excited about the $10 million bra! Candice Swanepoel is the lucky Victoria’s Secret angel who will be wearing this luxurious bra during the show. Created by lebanese jeweller Mouawad, the bra and matching belt features over 4,200 precious gems, including rubies, diamonds and yellow sapphires set in 18 carat gold with a 52-carat ruby at the center. As Candice said to the press, the bra is a little bit heavy, but fits like a glove as it was custom fit for the model.
What do you think about this magnificent bra, girls? I just can’t take my eyes off it :) Can’t wait to see Candice wearing it during the Victoria’s Secret show.
3. Steve Martin’s $10.5 million Caribbean Estate
And the last exciting thing that I want to talk about today is this breathtaking Caribbean estate. Comedian Steve Martin has put his $10.5 million St. Barth home on the market and it is magnificent! In fact, everything I wish my future house to be like. I love everything about it starting with the name – Villa Au Soleil! This four bedroom opulent residence features a gourmet kitchen, a formal dining room, a spacious living room, multiple terraces, a sun deck and a two-tiered infinity pool. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens with a lily pond and a fountain enhance this is a dream property. I wonder why Steve Martin decided to sell this gem of a house. More photos could be found here.
