Only half an hour is left till the red carpet coverage of Golden Globes 2014 begins. So, while we are waiting to see what celebrity girls will be wearing tonight, let’s play a guessing game. I have selected a few evening dresses, that I would love to see on the red carpet tonight. It was impossible to “dress” all celebrity girls, so I just covered nominees from the two categories: Best Performance By An Actress In A Motion Picture, Drama and Best Performance By An Actress In A Motion Picture, Comedy Or Musical. As well as some of my favourite actresses. Let’s start with nominees from the above mentioned categories:
Category: Best Performance By An Actress In A Motion Picture, Drama
Cate Blanchett
“Blue Jasmine” is the only movie I have seen from the list of nominated girls, but I really loved Cate Blanchett performance in it. And although other nominees are very amazing actresses, I will be happy if Cate Blanchett wins. Anyway, it will be a very important day for Cate and I think she is preparing for it very carefully. I would love to see her in this red dress by Elie Saab. Cate Blanchett would look stunning in this dress. What do you think?
Sandra Bullock
I envision Sandra Bullok in this emerald green dress by Monique Lhuillier.
Judi Dench
Judi Dench is always dresses very elegantly and according to her age on red carpet. I think she would look great in this elegant dress by Valentino.
Emma Thompson
Emma Thompson would look amazing in this evening gown by Badgley Mischka.
Kate Winslet
Haven’t seen Kate Winslet on a red carpet for a while. So, I hope she chooses something spectacular. Like this royal red evening dress by Elie Saab.

I always like the looks that Meryl Streep selects for her red carpet appearances and expect her to look marvellous tonight. Would be cool if she wears something like this dress by Elie Saab.

Every time when Sofia Vergara appears on a red carpet all men lose their heads. She is so sensual and sexy. I would love to see her in this Zac Posen dress.
Amy Poehler
Amy is not only nominated for her work in Parks & Recreation, but she will also be a host of the evening together with Tina Fey. This means she will change her dresses a lot during the event, but at least once I would like to see Amy Poehler in this wonderful red dress by Elie Saab.
Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer Lawrence will probably wear something from Christian Dior, so I have chosen this black dress. What do you think?
Julia Roberts
Last time I saw Julia Roberts on a red carpet during promotional tour of “Eat Pray Love”. So, would be great to see Julia in a dress by Armani Prive.
Helena Bonham Carter
Helena always wears something eccentric on a red carpet. That’s why I have selected this black dress by Chanel.
Elisabeth Moss
Can’t wait to see Elisabeth Moss in a dress similar to this gorgeous green evening dress by Monique Lhuillier.

I think that Zooey will look great in a dark blue one shoulder evening dress by Elie Saab.

Uhh, I thought I won’t be able to finish before the red carpet translation begins. So many magnificent dresses and talented actresses.
