King’s Lynn

Let’s start with a delightful day trip – King’s Lynn. This market town right by the Great Ouse River is rich with history. It’s easy to spend an afternoon ambling down the cobbled streets and admiring the architecture. A walk by the waterfront is popular for visitors and locals. You can get a true taste of the town’s history by going to the market square.Travelling to King’s Lynn from Ely is so easy, thanks to plenty of transport links.

To discover more of Norfolk’s history, a visit to Norwich is a must. It’s been described as one of the world’s most irresistible holiday destinations. From its magnificent cathedral and amazing architecture to the markets and plentiful pubs, it’s a city that lends itself to being explored on foot. It’s also right in the middle of one of the most scenic places in the UK, the Norfolk Broads.

The Broads National Park is beloved by so many people.It is a man-made national treasure. The best ways to explore the Broads are by boat or on foot. It is the UK’s largest protected wetland, and you’ll be able to spot plenty of wildlife no matter where you end up. Whether you want to try your hand at sailing or simply stroll along the river, there are so many ways you can enjoy this beautiful part of the country.

Coast Path 

Peddars Way and the Norfolk Coast Path are another must-do for nature lovers. These two trails offer some of the most stunning views of the English coastline. It’s easy to forget you haven’t gone abroad when you walk alongside the sand dunes and take in the fresh ocean air. There are lots of trail options for you to take, depending on how long you want to walk.

Cromer Pier 

For a taste of the traditional British seaside experience, you need to visit Cromer Pier in the North Norfolk town. It remains the relaxing pier it was designed to be in the Victorian era. It’s well-known for the Pavilion theatre shows, which entertain hundreds of people each year. No matter the season, Cromer Pier offers some lovely seaside views.
