Oscars 2016 is officially over. Wow! What a night it was! There were a lot of surprises during the show as well as unpredictable wins. For example, I didn’t expect Alicia Vikander to win the best supporting actress title. I thought (hoped) that Kate Winslet will win. I am really happy for Brie Larson for winning the best actress award. And, of course, I am beyond ecstatic for Leonardo DiCaprio!! Finally he has his well-deserved Oscar.
It was a great night in terms of fashion as well. Let’s get a closer look at the most beautiful dress of the night.
Best Dressed Celebrities At The Oscars 2016 Red Carpet
1. Sofia Vergara in Marchesa
Sofia looked absolutely stunning in this dress by Marchesa. This is one of my favourite looks of the night.
2. Margot Robbie in Tom Ford
Margot looked flawless, beautiful and comfortable in this golden dress by Tom Ford. Great choice. There is nothing more to add to this look.
3. Charlize Theron in Dior
Charlize Theron in a red dress by Dior was stealing everyone’s attention. This photo doesn’t make her look justice, I suggest you search for better shots online where you see the dramatic v-neck with beautiful diamond necklace.
4. Lady Gaga in Brandon Maxwell
I loved the idea of the jumpsuit and gown mix which created Brandon Maxwell for Lady Gaga. What do you think? Never thought that I will ever say this, but I like how Lady Gaga looks.
5. Julianne Moore in Chanel
I loved how interesting and elegant this black Chanel dress looked on Julianne Moore.
6. Jennifer Lawrence in Dior
At first, I didn’t like this sheer dress by Dior on Jennifer Lawrence. But the more I looked at it the more I like it.
7. Tina Fey in Versace
Tina Fey looked gorgeous in this purple Versace dress. Well, maybe I just love her so much, that I use any chance to add her to the best dressed celebrities list.
8. Jennifer Garner in Versace
The moment Jennifer Garner stepped on the red carpet I couldn’t take my eyes off of her. She looked amazing and chic. Although it was a bit sad, that she was alone.
9. Chrissy Teigen in Marchesa
I think that Chrissy Teigen took the baby bump red carpet fashion to a completely new level. I have never seen more riskier and better looking heavily pregnant woman on the red carpet before. Chrissy aced it!
10. Alicia Vikander in Louis Vuitton and Brie Larson in Gucci
And to complete the list on the round number, here is a tie for both Academy Award 2016 winners: Alicia Vikander and Brie Larson. I can’t say that I particularly like any of these dresses, but the winners should appear on the list, don’t you agree?
And I saved the best for last. I am so glad that Heidi Klum picked this pink dress by Marchesa. It means that I have yet again guessed the dress, because you can find it on my red carpet dress predictions list. This night couldn’t get any better!
