The Magic of Thinking Big

As you probably already noticed I am very interested in everything that can help people become rich and successful, because I believe that success-achievement- is the goal of life! At least it should be that way! Also, I want to get and experience the best this life can deliver and I want inspire others to live to the fullest.
A few weeks ago I was very depressed, I realized that I haven’t reached a lot of my goals, I felt like a loser and I thought that there is no way out! I even started to think that maybe I am not the kind of person who can make all her dreams come true and be very successful. Maybe I am just not that good and I should be satisfied with what I already have and shouldn’t wish for anything better.
To my luck I shared my feelings with a friend and he recommended me a book, which I ordered on Amazon.com straight away. Few days ago I got it and I must say that it is really what I was looking for! I only started to read it, but it already lifted my spirits and made me believe in myself! I already feel very motivated to make significant changes in my life, I feel confident that I can reach any goal I set and I am sure this book will help me. If you want to succeed in life, but don’t believe you can do it – I would strongly recommend David J. Shwartz’s book “The Magic of Thinking Big“! Read it and you will see how your life will change. You can order this book online or ask your friends, maybe they have it. This book is very popular, over 4 million copies sold.
If you have already read it, please tell me what you think? I would love to hear your opinion!
Good luck!

Rich Roll – success story!

I was browsing the trending topics on google today and stumbled upon interesting word combination – Rich Roll. As I am interested in word Rich I was very curious to know what is placed #7 as today’s trend topic.
I started to read the articles and found out a very interesting story about a man who completely changed his life after 40 and turned it into success. I don’t know how rich Richard Roll is, but the story of his life is really inspiring and I think that you would agree that this is a real success story. I think that we all should learn some things from Richard Roll.
Richard Roll has his own site, so if you are interested you can find out more about him at http://www.richroll.com/
Below I just cite some things I liked the most about this man from his site and Men’s Fitness Magazine:
A husband, a father of 4, an entertainment attorney, filmmaker, writer as well as a passionate endurance athlete who recently placed 11that the 2008 Ultraman World Championships. (He finished 11th overall in the Ultraman but first among non-pros. / Men’sFitness)
By age 40, Richard was 35 pounds overweight and completely out of shape. It was time for a major life change. To celebrate his 40th natal birthday as well as his 10th anniversary in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction, in 2006 he overhauled his diet, became a dedicated vegan, put on his running shoes and jumped back into the pool. It wasn’t long before ambition took hold and his quest to participate in Ultraman slowly began. Two years later and 35 pounds lighter, he surprised the triathlon & ultra communities by not only becoming the first vegan to complete the event, but by finishing in the top 10 males, despite never having even previously competed in a single ironman distance event. / http://richroll.com

The first lesson we could learn from Richard Roll is that it is never too late to start your new, happier, richer, healthier life. All you need to do is to wish for a new life and do something! Act! Don’t be afraid, don’t think about “what if”, just start approaching the life you were always dreaming about even if you just make a tiny little footsteps toward it. Just start. Your life is in your hands, even if you are over 40 it only just begins!
Secondly, don’t underestimate yourself. You don’t even know what you are capable of doing until you set high goals/targets and reach them.
Third lesson, don’t be afraid to invest in yourself, it will definitely pay off.
Oh, and one more cool thing about Rich Roll - he is one of Men’s Fitness Magazines 25 Fittest Guys in the World — the fittest “Real Guy” for 2009. Amazing, isn’t it?!
This story made me think about what people could achieve if they just knew what they want!

Rich Girl

Not only reading a story about someones success motivates you to do something great in your life, but also quotes of successful and smart people will help you keep focused on your goal.
I have collected the most (to my mind) motivating quotes on success, which I hope you will find helpful. If you have any good quotes which you think could be interesting to our readers, please leave them in the comments below.
Ok, so here are some quotes on success:
- Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does.–William James
- Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there.–Will Rogers
- In any situation, the best thing you can do is the right thing; the next best thing you can do is the wrong thing; the worst thing you can do is nothing.–Theodore Roosevelt
- Keep on going and the chances are you will stumble on something, perhaps when you are least expecting it. I have never heard of anyone stumbling on something sitting down.–Charles F. Kettering, Engineer and Inventor
- There are only two rules for being successful. One, figure out exactly what you want to do, and two, do it.–Mario Cuomo
- The road to success runs uphill.–Willie Davis
- Experience is what you get when you don’t get what you want.–Dan Stanford
- A lot of people have ideas, but there are few who decide to do something about them now. Not tomorrow. Not next week. But today. The true entrepreneur is a doer, not a dreamer.–Nolan Bushnell, Founder of Atari Computer
- Fear is the result of a lack of confidence. A lack of confidence is the result of not knowing what you can do. A lack of knowing what you can do is caused by a lack of experience. A lack of experience is caused by a lack of doing something new.–Dale Carnegie
- Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.–Sir Winston Churchill
- The bad news is time flies. The good news is you’re the pilot.–Michael Althsuler
- The only certain means of success is to render more and better service than is expected of you, no matter what your task may be.–Og Mandino
And my favorite is by Mark Twain:
- Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
I wish you live your life to the fullest and become very successful, rich and happy one day!
Keep on going!

Sticks&Stones

I was browsing the Internet the other day and came across very motivating story of one family which became millionaires by turning their hobby into very successful business. By selling custom keepsakes made using framed photos Jera, 34, and Brad Deal, 39 from Peoria, Illinois made in 2007 in sales (projected) $10.5 million. Isn’t it amazing?! Their story really makes us learn that everything is possible in this world, and it is not so hard to become a millionaire one day, as long as you have a brilliant idea and a strong will to succeed.
Here is their story: (I took it from their site http://www.createsticksandstones.com. You can find a lot of interesting things there as well)
Sticks and StonesTM began as an alphabet lesson for Brad and Jera Deal’s daughters. The family began “letter hunting” while on walks or while spending the day at the park. They would look for different “letters” in nature (STICKS) and architecture (STONES). They began taking photographs to remember their adventures, creating a collection of letters based on the family’s hobby. Brad, Jera, and the girls continue to letter hunt, so keep checking in as new letters are added to the “Letters Gallery”.
In October 2005, Jera was a room mom for Julianna’s preschool class. Therefore, she was in charge of finding a gift for the teacher when she was married during the school year. Jera didn’t want to give the teacher a gift from her registry — that just wasn’t memorable enough. She wanted to give her something that she would look at in 20 years and know exactly who the gift came from. As the family discussed their gift dilemma, they decided to try something new: having their letters custom framed spelling out the teacher’s new last name. Once the other mothers saw the gift at the class bridal shower, and the teacher displayed her gift in the Teacher’s Lounge, everyone wanted one of their own.
In less than three years, Sticks and StonesTM has grown from one creation to being available in many catalogs and boutiques around the world. Sticks and StonesTM is also honored to be the gift of choice for many dignitaries and celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, The Obama Family, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Martha Stewart, and Rachael Ray. Oprah told Brad and Jera, “This IS the perfect gift for the person who has everything because no one has anything like this!”
So, how did you like this success story? I think it is very motivating, isn’t it? I would love to know what do you think about it. Maybe you have your own success story which you want to share with us? Please leave your comments below or send us your story by filling out this form. Good luck!

Millionaire

Ok, so you want to become a Millionaire one day, right? At least you like to dream about it. I think it is already a good start. If you at least know what you want, it is most likely that you will get it.
But do you know what does the word Millionaire mean? Who are they, those Millionaires? Do you know what you will have to do and face when you will become one? You need to know it before you started your jorney towards Big Huge Money!
Let’s have a look at the Wikipedia:
The word was first used (as millionnaire, double “n”) in French in 1719 by John Law, and is first recorded in English (millionaire, as a French term) in a letter of Lord Byron of 1816, then in print in Vivian Gray, a novel of 1826 by Benjamin Disraeli. An earlier English word “millionary” was used in 1786 by Thomas Jefferson while serving as Minister to France; he wrote: “The poorest labourer stood on equal ground with the wealthiest Millionary”. The first American printed use is thought to be in an obituary of New York tobacco manufacturer Pierre Lorillard II in 1843.
The increasing prevalence of people with more and more money has given rise to additional terms to further differentiate millionaires. A multimillionaire has a net worth of more than 2 million units of currency, a decamillionaire has a net worth of more than 10 million units of currency, and a hectomillionaire has a net worth of more than 100 million units of currency. The term centimillionaire has become synonymous with hectomillionaire in America, despite the centi- prefix meaning 1/100, not 100, in the metric system.
While statistics regarding financial assets and net worth are presented by household, the term is also often used to describe only the individual who has amassed the assets as millionaire. That is, even though the term statistically refers only to households, common usage is often in reference only to an individual.
A millionaire (originally and sometimes still millionnaire) is an individual whose net worth or wealth exceeds one million units of currency. It can also be a person who owns one million units of currency in a bank account or savings account. Depending on the currency, a certain level of prestige is associated with being a millionaire, which makes that amount of wealth a goal for some, and almost unattainable for others.
The increasing number of millionaires is partially due to prevailing economics: Increasingly, the term denotes more and more to the status of high wealth. American sociologist Leonard Beeghley classifies all households with net worth exceeding $1 million as “The Rich.” Currently, there are over 10 million residents around the globe classified as millionaires.
So, I guess you are now more aware of when people will start calling you a Millionaire, right? Now you need to make your first step toward your long and exciting journey to the Rich and Happy Life. What will be this first step? Let’s find out in the next post.
