Gina Rinehart and her Endless Success

‘Success never comes along, but through stern determination, perseverance and God’s grace’. A successful person is one who works hard but smartly. All of us would have certainly read about several successful stories of great men. But having read about a successful woman, I decided to compile about her and her achievements in brief. Hard work can make a man rich but can it make a woman the richest on Earth? Yes, this has been made utterly possible and the cogent evidence is none other than, ‘Gina Rinehart- The Iron lady of Australia’.

Several magazines have reported Rinehart’s success stating that Georgina Hope Rinehart or Gina Rinehart, the richest person in Australia will soon become the richest person (woman) on Earth in just a few years from now. It is said that she will surpass both Carlos Slim and Bill Gates (currently the richest persons in the world) to become the richest person in the world. In a man-dominated world like ours, one would definitely be keen to know how this lone lady was able to achieve this unbelievable status at such an early age. To know more, let us briefly explore about her story and her success routes.
Early Life
Georgina Hope Rinehart was born on 9th of February 1954 at Perth in Australia to the late mining magnate Lang Hancock and late Hope Margaret Nicholas. She studied at St Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls in Perth and later studied economics at The University of Sydney. Then she worked for her father as his Personal Assistant and gained extensive knowledge about iron-ore industry. Gina married twice, first to an Englishman Greg Milton whom she divorced later and then to Frank Rinehart who died in the year 1990.
Her Growth
Langley Hancock, Gina Rinehart’s father discovered the world’s largest iron ore deposits when she was just 38 years old. Then she inherited a debt-ridden iron ore company, ‘Hancock Prospecting’ from her father. After that, Gina Rinehart showed steady progress and started earning profit year after year through iron ore projects running in Western Australia and also through royalty payments received from mining companies with whom her father had negotiated. She also has few coal projects in Galilee Basin.
This 57 year old (as of 2011) woman has been amassing wealth for decades and has been subsequently appearing in almost all business magazines which mentioned her as one of the richest persons in Australia. Citigroup estimates that she would become the richest person in a few years from now as she is the sole owner of the huge property and does not have any share holders to pay for.
Into Business
After the death of her father Lang Hancock in 1992, she became the Executive Chairman of HPPL and the HPPL Group of companies. In due course, she started off with legal fight with her step mother over her father’s death and also over Hancock’s assets which took 14 long years to complete. Later, she gradually developed those Hancock’s undeveloped iron ore deposits into operable mines which in turn earned her huge profits. As on 2010, Gina Rinehart’s daughter, Bianca Rinehart was the Director of most of the Hancock companies and also the member of the executive management team.

Wealth Status
After the death of Rinehart’s father in 1992, her name appeared for the first time in the Business Review Weekly (BRW) in the Rich 200 list in the year 1992. And year after year, her name has been appearing in several magazines. In the year 2006, her name appeared in the billionaires list. Ultimately in the year 2010, news flashed in magazines declaring Gina as the richest woman in Australia and in the year 2011 she was declared as the richest person in Australia.
Her name first appeared among Australia’s 40 richest persons in Forbes magazine when her wealth estimate touched the mark of US$1 billion. Thereafter it doubled to US$2.4 billion in the following year and more than trebled to US$9 billion in the year 2011. Her growth did not stop here. Both Forbes and BRW declared her as the richest woman in the year 2011.
As per Citigroup’s prediction, Rinehart will soon overtake Carlos Slim whose wealth estimate is US$74 billion and also Bill Gates whose estimated wealth is US$56 billion. Reports say that owing to an increase in iron and ore production, Rinehart’s wealth is expected to touch a dazing US$100 billion.

Successor of the Dynasty
Recent reports reveal that Rinehart’s youngest daughter Ginia Rinehart has been appointed as the director of Hancock Prospecting. Now, it is the world’s richest and wealthiest dynasty that has mining projects spread over Queensland, Western Australia and also stake investments made in Fairfax Media and Ten Network Holdings. Of her four children, three of them except Ginia Rinehart have filed case against her in the NSW Supreme Court to remove her as the head of the family trust that took control of nearly 25 percent of the family’s wealth. Reports also say that Ginia Rinehart was appointed as the director of Hope Downs Marketing Company that has a tie up with another giant mining company, Rio Tinto.
Rinehart’s Fortune
As already mentioned Gina Rinehart will achieve the title of ‘World’s richest person’ in few years from now, beating the current richest persons. This is due to the fact that she does not have any shareholders and that she holds all rights of the company.
Amazing but Real
Although this woman has achieved this status during a short period of time, it is shocking to read about three of her four children having filed a case against her asking for her removal as the trustee of the multi billion company. In fact, this company was set up by Rinehart’s father Mr Hancock announcing his four grand children as its beneficiaries before he died.
Although several factors lie behind the success of a man, one of the common factors that we see in SUCCESSFUL persons is their DEVOTED HARD WORK. Hence, let us reshape our minds in order to apply this concept to fulfil our dreams. Good Luck, Rich Girls!

11 Most Successful Celebrity Girls of 2011
January 9, 2012 by Rich Girl
The year 2011 was full of wonderful moments. A lot of good and bad things have happened in the world during this year, but as always we are not going to concentrate on the bad things. I have decided to remember only the good things and make the list of those celebrity girls, for whom (to my mind) this year was the most successful and unforgettable. Let’s celebrate those inspiring rich girls, who set high standards, never stop surprising us and manage to achieve great results.
So, who were the most outstanding celebrity girls of 2011? It was really hard to choose only 11 celebrity girls, because there are so much more high achievers, but rules are rules. I have selected 11 girls based on one of the following criteria: outstanding achievements, buzz, life changing experience and inspiration.
Some of the girls in this list will match all the criteria, some may only match one, but nonetheless they all have earned the right to be on the list.
1 – Kate Middleton now Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge

The Royal Wedding was definitely the most beautiful and romantic event of the year and Catherine was the ultimate star! I think that Kate Middleton is the most successful girls of 2011, because she managed to marry the prince! Sometimes all it takes is to marry the right guy, after that your life is a complete fairy tale.
2 – Adele

Adele experienced breathtaking rise to fame in 2011. Her single “Someone Like You” became a number one hit around the world and the album “21″ topped the charts in 18 countries including the United States. Adele’s “21″ was also last year’s biggest selling digital album.
There are a lot of things that I like about Adele: her voice, her songs and the fact that she doesn’t look like most of the stars. She is unique in every possible way and I hope she will continue make us happy or sad with her new songs. My personal favorite Adele’s song is “Rolling in the Deep” and I first heard and loved it in the “Gossip Girl” – Bar Mitzvah episode. This song suited perfectly Chuck and Blair’s romance!
3 – Victoria Beckham

It was a very successful year for Victoria Beckham both family and career wise. She welcomed her beautiful baby daughter Harper Seven into the family and won the “Designer Brand of the Year” at the “2011 British Fashion Awards”, beating Stella McCartney, Tom Ford and Burberry. I was writing about Victoria Beckham earlier this year, as she is a very inspiring rich girl.
4 – Rihanna

In 2011 Rihanna achieved a lot and this year was really amazing for her. She received Grammy Award (Dance Recording), Billboard Award (Female Artist of the Year), Brit (International Female Artist of the Year) Award, American Music Award (Favorite R&B Album), BET award (Best Female R&B Artist) in just one year! Her album “Loud” sold over 6,000,000 copies internationally, she sold more than 47 million digital tracks in 2011, which puts her ahead of Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Britney Spears and Beyonce, her “Loud” tour was the 7th top grossing world tour in 2011 and the list of Rihanna’s achievements this year can go on and on. I just listed the most inspiring ones. And don’t forget that Rihanna is only 23 years old!
5 – Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is famous for being famous and as far as I am concerned she is good at it. She spent over 10 million dollars on a wedding, ordered three amazing wedding dresses from Vera Wang only to file for divorce in just 72 days of marriage. Well, she made headlines this year and people were actually interested in all her wedding preparations, the dream wedding and the divorce drama. According to Google Zeitgeist 2011, Kim Kardashian wedding was most popular search in weddings category within the United States. Even the Royal wedding was left behind, on the 2nd place. I think that only Kim Kardashian could pull this off and although she is not a great role model she deserves a place in our top for constantly finding new ways to be in a spot light.
6 – Natalie Portman

I bet that 2011 will be the year which Natalie Portman will look back to and say: “This year was the most amazing of all!” I hope that she will have a lot more successful years in the future, but 2011 was really the year to remember. Natalie Portman won the Academy Award, the Golden Globe Award, the Screen Actors Guild Award, Independent Spirit Awards, and the BAFTA Award for her lead performance as Nina Sayers in “Black Swan”. But 2011 was also unforgettable, because Natalie gave birth to her first child, a son named Aleph Portman-Millepied.
7 – Charlene Wittstock, now Charlene, Princess of Monaco

A girl from South Africa marrying into one of Europe’s oldest royal families, isn’t it a true fairy tale? And even though the wedding was clouded by suggestions that Charlene almost became a runaway bride after she found out about Prince Albert’s private life, the event turned out to be grand and beautiful. Maybe not as hugely discussed and viewed as the Royal Wedding of Catherine and William, but still breathtaking. And I actually loved Charlene’s wedding dress better.
8 – Pippa Middleton

One girl which woke up famous this year was Pippa Middleton. After she rocked that white dress by Sarah Burton at her sister’s Royal Wedding, she skyrocketed to fame. Guys love her, girls want to copy her body parts and the way she dresses and Pippa is just enjoying her invitations to all the glamorous parties and probably is writing a book. Yes, Pippa Middleton is said to be close to signing a book deal on how to be the perfect party hostess. Well, it is definitely good to have a famous sister.
9 – Beyoncé

She is a great singer and beautiful woman, she is inspiration for all of us. This year all the fans were happy to hear the good news, that the power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z is expecting their first child. Her pregnancy announcement had broken the “most tweets per second recorded for a single event” Twitter record, receiving 8,868 tweets per second.
But somehow these amazing news were spoiled by the allegations that Beyonce is not actually pregnant and is wearing a special pillow to look pregnant, that a surrogate is doing the actual job. I still don’t know whether it is true or not. I hope she is pregnant for real, because I can see no reason why would she fake her pregnancy or turn to surrogate at this young age. Anyway, Beyonce is a star and she can do whatever she wants. I like what she said in one of her videos: “I don’t have to prove anything to anyone, I only have to follow my heart and concentrate on what I want to say to the world.”
10 – Jennifer Aniston

Everyone wants to believe in true relationships and happy mutual love. This year we had a chance to feel happy for Jennifer as it seems that she has finally found her Mr. Right! Jennifer Aniston radiated happiness all year, thank you Justin Theroux
Her new haircut this year also made people talk. According to Google Zeitgeist 2011 Jennifer Aniston haircut was number 2 most popular search in haircuts category, just a little bit behind Justin Bieber’s haircut and way ahead of Emma Watson, Selena Gomez and Diana Agron haircuts.
Also, I really loved her this year in “Horrible Bosses”.
11 – Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson lost 80 lbs and turned into a completely different person. This year she was shining on different events, in amazing tight outfits and said that she now looks and feels 10 years younger. I have added Jennifer to the list of 11 most successful and inspiring rich girls of 2011 because she is not only talented singer and Academy Award winner and a mother of a gorgeous kid, but she also managed to turn her life around and become more healthy and confident. If she could do it, we all can do it! Let’s be healthier and happier in 2012!
So, here is the list of 11 rich girls who, to my mind, were having a blast in 2011. Of course some of you may disagree with this list and I would really want to hear that
Please share your opinion in the comments below.
The reason I wanted to create this list in the first place, is to inspire you to make the year 2012 to remember! Set yourself high standards, targets and goals this year! You can do anything! Dream big and act on it!
Let the 2012 be the most successful of all years! And who knows, maybe at the beginning of 2013 there will be your name on my list!

11 Most Subscribed Youtube Girls Channels
August 6, 2011 by Rich Girl
Filed under Rich Photos, Success Stories
I think everyone knows what is Youtube. We all watched and shared funny or cute videos with our friends, some even have their own channels, but there are people whose life was changed completely by Youtube. People, who managed to turn their hobby and passion for creating videos into successful online business, whose Youtube nicknames became their brand names, who travel the world, who made their dreams come true and became rich and famous.
When I read or hear about Youtube stars, I always feel deep respect for them. Not only they are not afraid to broadcast themselves, not only these people are very creative, brave and can find and share unique ideas with the rest of the world, but these people created their own life, own destiny. They didn’t wait to be discovered, or for someone to come and help them become an actor or singer or makeup artist, they just started creating videos, alone in their rooms with their camera (not always the best one) and laptop, sharing their talent and ideas with the world.
These people dared to be different. But they also worked hard! Have you ever tried to record 400 videos?!
Although the majority of Youtube Huge Stars are men/guys, there are also girls in all time top 100 most subscribed list by Youtube. There are more than 11 Youtube girls in the list, but I decided to limit my list with 11. I simply like this number
Also, I didn’t take into account channels by major music stars like Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez etc, because they were not discovered with the help of Youtube and their channels were made by PR companies and not by the girls themselves.

January 17, 2011 by Rich Girl
The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards was exciting and entertaining event as expected. I really loved the host of the evening Ricky Gervais and his jokes. My favorite joke was about the movie “The Tourist” – “The reason why this movie was nominated is because members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association just wanted to hang out with Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp.”
Here is the video with the Ricky Gervais introduction speech, in case you haven’t seen the event:
As I have expected none of my favorites from the list I made yesterday have won, but I am not disappointed with the actual winners. I am really happy for Natalie Portman, although I haven’t seen the movie “Black Swan” yet, but Natalie was always one of my favorite actresses and she deserves to win. Exclusive Interview With Fashion Blog Owner
January 11, 2011 by Rich Girl
Fashion blogging is one of the major trends online at the moment. And if done properly and with passion, it usually brings fame and recognition to the owners of such blog. For example, Swedish retail giant H&M after successful collaboration line with Lanvin will now launch a line designed by a fashion blogger in February!
Yes, fashion blogging is popular, but not everyone can do it in such unique and tasteful manner, as the owner of a wonderful blog I have recently found – Coco & Vera. The moment I stumbled upon this blog, I felt that I have found something special and I just wanted to share it with you. Please meet Cee, the girl behind Coco & Vera!
Rich Girl: Hi, Cee! Thank you for finding time to talk to Rich Girls Club! In order for us to know you better, please name 5 words/things that best describe you.
Cee: Two words that best describe me are focused and determined. It sometimes takes me some time to decide what I want to do, but once I do know, there is nothing I won’t do to achieve what I want. I would describe my style as classic, sophisticated and elegant; I’m not the type of girl who tries every trend, but I’m not shy about experimenting with things that aren’t trendy if I think they fit my style.

Rich Girl: How does the idea of creating Coco & Vera came up? Who and what inspired you to have your own website? Tell us more about it.
Cee: I’ve always loved fashion, and I have a bachelor of fine arts in creative writing. When I first stumbled upon a fashion blog, I realised that starting my own would be the perfect way to combine my two passions. It took another six months for me to work up the courage to do it, though; the idea of putting my style out there for the world to see- and possibly criticise- was terrifying. Since I finally decided to take the plunge, though, the experience has been nothing but positive.
Rich Girl: When I first stumbled upon your blog, I was amazed by the amount of high quality pictures of you in different outfits! Who is behind the camera and how do you always come up with new ideas for your outfits?
Cee: My husband is my photographer, and in that respect I’m very spoiled as a blogger- I think most girls take their own shots using a tripod and timer! My husband trained in photography at school and works part-time as a photographer (although now he mostly works for me! He does have his own blog) He shoots on a Nikon D300S, which takes just fabulous photos. As far as outfits are concerned, I get a lot of inspiration from other bloggers, and also from fashion magazines- InStyle is my favourite. But my ideas mainly come from trying to remix what is already in my closet- fashion is more about working with what you have than always having something new.
Rich Girl: How do you picture yourself and your blog Coco & Vera in 3 years time?
Cee: In some ways I just hope that Coco & Vera is still holding readers’ interest in three years time! Honestly, though, I would love for my work on my blog to eventually transition into a career in the fashion industry, possibly writing a column for a magazine or newspaper.
Rich Girl: On your blog you made the Resolution for 2011, tell us more about it. Have you decided how you gonna reward yourself in the end of 2011 for keeping it?
Cee: This December, I bought Christian Dior’s book, The Little Dictionary of Fashion. Reading it, I assumed it had been written in the early 1900s, the text seemed so dated… but it turns out it was published in 1954! How we have gone from wearing hats, gloves and afternoon frocks to yoga pants and hoodies in less than sixty years is baffling. I believe that fashion is about everything but being physically comfortable, so I decided to give up the item of clothing that I usually wear for comfort: denim. I make sure I keep my resolution, I gave away all of my jeans. At the end of the year, I’ll take all of the money that I saved not buying denim and put it towards something nice, like a Marc by Marc Jacobs purse.
Rich Girl: If you had all the money in the world what 3 shoe designer brands would be dominating your closet? Why?
Cee: The first one is easy: Christian Louboutin. It sounds cliché, but I recently had a chance to wear a pair for the first time and not only do they look stunning, they are also amazingly comfortable! I also love Repetto; they’re a dance shoe company that has branched out into fashion footwear and handbags. Their shoes are very ballerina chic, and designed for maximum comfort. And finally, I would have to choose Chanel. Because if I had all the money in the world, almost everything I bought would be from Chanel.
Rich Girl: Who are your most favorite fashion designers?
Cee: It’s really hard to narrow this down. Based on my answer to the last question, you know that I love Chanel. But I also love the girly glamour of Marchesa; the quirky whimsy of Marc by Marc Jacobs; the classic elegance of Miu Miu and the sleek simplicity of Chloe. As far as designer personalities are concerned, I really admire Miuccia Prada; she’s a strong woman who doesn’t mince words, and very witty, too!
Rich Girl: Is there any celebrities whose style you like the most?
Cee: When I was in ninth grade, one of my teachers told me I looked like Audrey Hepburn. I knew that was an incredible compliment but didn’t really know why, so I started investigating and found I really loved Audrey’s style, especially her proclivity from boat-neck dresses. Currently, I love Marion Cotillard, because she isn’t afraid to take risks with fashion and wear things that others wouldn’t dare, lest they end up on a ‘worst dressed’ list. She never looks the same twice, but she never fails to look amazing!
Rich Girl: How would you define success and can you call yourself a success? If not, what do you need to achieve to feel that way?
Cee: Coco and Vera has done very well so far, but it is only in its seventh month. I’ve been lucky to be successful thus far, but that doesn’t mean that I can become complacent… To remain successful, I know I have to keep working hard. I still have one big dream that I have yet to achieve, and that is moving to Paris. If I’m one day writing Coco and Vera from an apartment in Montmartre, I will have achieved everything I ever wanted.
Rich Girl: What advice do you have for those who want to start their own business or blog?
Cee: The same things don’t work for everyone when they start a blog, but I can say for sure that the more work you put into something, the more you’ll get out of it. I started blogging in June, but I only started taking it seriously in October. Since October, my blog has grown exponentially more quickly, and I know that is a direct reflection of my hard work. If you want to succeed, you have to want it; and if you want it, you have to work for it. Study other people who are successful to see what they’ve done and take inspiration from them, but remain fundamentally yourself; people are attracted to unique voices and points of view. If you can do those two things, the rest will come naturally.
Rich Girl: And the last question: give us your definition of Rich Girl.
Cee: To me, the idea of being rich has infinitely more to do with your quality of life than with how much money you have. If you’re happy and you have a passion for something; people you love who love you back and the freedom to indulge yourself in your favourite treats, whether its lattes or lipstick, then you’re rich.
Rich Girl: Thank you, Cee, for this wonderful interview! I wish your dream of blogging from your apartment in Montmartre will come true very soon! Good luck!

Martina Hingis – Rich Girl and Tennis Success!
September 19, 2010 by Rich Girl
Martina Hingis is here in Marbella for Marbella Masters 2010 event and she is in a great shape! Check out my tiny review of the Marbella Masters 2010 event here! I never really hoped to see such a major tennis star so close, I even got an autograph from her! Not that I am really into collecting scribbled paper, I just wanted to get closer to the truly successful Rich Girl!!
Damn, I will have my business cards ready only on Monday, can’t believe that I actually missed the opportunity to invite Martina Hingis to be a part of our Rich Girl’s Club! Sorry, girls, my bad!!
Martina is all smiles, looks fabulous and is smashing her opponents with ease. Well, I knew Martina is a star and success, but anyway I conducted a little search on Google and found out so much more about her, like she have won $20,130,657 in career prize money! She is forth all-time money wise in women tennis (after Graf, Davenport and Navratilova, the only four at this point to pass $20 million) according to http://www.sonyericssonwtatour.com. How cool is that?! Also, I found out that Martina loves shopping and her favourite designers are Gucci, Dior and Roberto Cavalli.
Martina was named after famous tennis player Martina Navratilova and was destined to become tennis star herself! I guess she didn’t have any other option as her mother was coaching her throughout her career starting with the early age of 2!! Martina entered tournaments at 4! And they say that you need to sing up your kids in tennis club only when they are 6!! Obviously, it is never too early to start making your own destiny!
Martina was born in Kosice, Slovakia in September 1980 and moved to Switzerland when she was 8. She holds five Grand Slam singles titles (winning Australian Open, Wimbledon and US Open in 1997, then winning Australian Open again in 1998 and 1999); reached seven more finals (three at Australian Open, two at Roland Garros and two at US Open). She also holds nine Grand Slam titles in doubles and one in mixed. Martina held No.1 position in WTA rank for 209 non-consecutive weeks in singles (fifth all-time) and for 35 non-consecutive weeks in doubles; was first Swiss to hold either; held both simultaneously for 27 non-consecutive weeks, one of now-five players to achieve the feat. She was the youngest Grand Slam champion in 20th century at 16yrs, 3mos, 26days (1997 Australian Open); youngest No.1 in history (16 yrs, 6mos, 1day). (quoted from http://www.sonyericssonwtatour.com)
Martina Hingis is such a success that she is even immortalized in wax at famous Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum!
I must say that I am impressed by how one girl can achieve so much in her early age! Just think of it, Martina will only turn 30 this year and she already achieved so much in her life! Now, she is traveling around the world, playing tennis in the events similar to Marbella Masters 2010 and enjoys her life. She has so much more ahead of her and it makes me feel like I missed something in my own life, the part where I achieved something honorable in my early years which will never actually happen. But again, as I have already said, it is never too early nor too late to start making your life the way you want it to be! So, I do believe, that one day my star will shine as well as yours!
My, dear girls, don’t just spend your time – make this life memorable and full of achievements! Martina Hingis is a really great example!

Success Stories Needed! Wanted!

When I started Success Stories on Rich Girl’s Club I was thinking about collecting information about successful and famous people, what they were doing on their way to stardom, what made them famous and rich and what can we learn from their experience.
But after a while I realized that you can find the stories about famous people everywhere, just Google the name of the person you want to find out information about and you will get the full picture starting from the days when he/she was a little baby.
I am receiving a lot of emails from people, who may not be famous world wide, but they are very successful and their stories are interesting and educational. So, I decided to dedicate “Success Stories” section on Rich Girl’s Club for these people.
You have a chance to be featured on Rich Girl’s Club as well, if you have your own Success Story you want to share with us! Just fill out this form, write a short story about your success and don’t forget to mention your valid email address. If I find your story interesting and educational for other Club Members I will contact you and your story will be posted on the site.
And remember, not every success is measured with money. Success as defined in Wikipedia:
Success may mean, but is not limited to:
* a level of social status
* achievement of an objective/goal
* the opposite of failure
* the succession of successfully executed tasks and successes
Looking forward for the stories of your success!
Yours,
Rich Girl

The Magic of Thinking Big
March 3, 2010 by Rich Girl
As you probably already noticed I am very interested in everything that can help people become rich and successful, because I believe that success-achievement- is the goal of life! At least it should be that way! Also, I want to get and experience the best this life can deliver and I want inspire others to live to the fullest.
A few weeks ago I was very depressed, I realized that I haven’t reached a lot of my goals, I felt like a loser and I thought that there is no way out! I even started to think that maybe I am not the kind of person who can make all her dreams come true and be very successful. Maybe I am just not that good and I should be satisfied with what I already have and shouldn’t wish for anything better.
To my luck I shared my feelings with a friend and he recommended me a book, which I ordered on Amazon.com straight away. Few days ago I got it and I must say that it is really what I was looking for! I only started to read it, but it already lifted my spirits and made me believe in myself! I already feel very motivated to make significant changes in my life, I feel confident that I can reach any goal I set and I am sure this book will help me. If you want to succeed in life, but don’t believe you can do it – I would strongly recommend David J. Shwartz’s book “The Magic of Thinking Big“! Read it and you will see how your life will change. You can order this book online or ask your friends, maybe they have it. This book is very popular, over 4 million copies sold.
If you have already read it, please tell me what you think? I would love to hear your opinion!
Good luck!

Rich Roll – success story!
July 21, 2009 by Rich Girl
I was browsing the trending topics on google today and stumbled upon interesting word combination – Rich Roll. As I am interested in word Rich I was very curious to know what is placed #7 as today’s trend topic.
I started to read the articles and found out a very interesting story about a man who completely changed his life after 40 and turned it into success. I don’t know how rich Richard Roll is, but the story of his life is really inspiring and I think that you would agree that this is a real success story. I think that we all should learn some things from Richard Roll.
Richard Roll has his own site, so if you are interested you can find out more about him at http://www.richroll.com/
Below I just cite some things I liked the most about this man from his site and Men’s Fitness Magazine:
A husband, a father of 4, an entertainment attorney, filmmaker, writer as well as a passionate endurance athlete who recently placed 11that the 2008 Ultraman World Championships. (He finished 11th overall in the Ultraman but first among non-pros. / Men’sFitness)
By age 40, Richard was 35 pounds overweight and completely out of shape. It was time for a major life change. To celebrate his 40th natal birthday as well as his 10th anniversary in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction, in 2006 he overhauled his diet, became a dedicated vegan, put on his running shoes and jumped back into the pool. It wasn’t long before ambition took hold and his quest to participate in Ultraman slowly began. Two years later and 35 pounds lighter, he surprised the triathlon & ultra communities by not only becoming the first vegan to complete the event, but by finishing in the top 10 males, despite never having even previously competed in a single ironman distance event. / http://richroll.com

The first lesson we could learn from Richard Roll is that it is never too late to start your new, happier, richer, healthier life. All you need to do is to wish for a new life and do something! Act! Don’t be afraid, don’t think about “what if”, just start approaching the life you were always dreaming about even if you just make a tiny little footsteps toward it. Just start. Your life is in your hands, even if you are over 40 it only just begins!
Secondly, don’t underestimate yourself. You don’t even know what you are capable of doing until you set high goals/targets and reach them.
Third lesson, don’t be afraid to invest in yourself, it will definitely pay off.
Oh, and one more cool thing about Rich Roll - he is one of Men’s Fitness Magazines 25 Fittest Guys in the World — the fittest “Real Guy” for 2009. Amazing, isn’t it?!
This story made me think about what people could achieve if they just knew what they want!
Yours,
Rich Girl
