The Magic of Thinking Big

As you probably already noticed I am very interested in everything that can help people become rich and successful, because I believe that success-achievement- is the goal of life! At least it should be that way! Also, I want to get and experience the best this life can deliver and I want inspire others to live to the fullest.
A few weeks ago I was very depressed, I realized that I haven’t reached a lot of my goals, I felt like a loser and I thought that there is no way out! I even started to think that maybe I am not the kind of person who can make all her dreams come true and be very successful. Maybe I am just not that good and I should be satisfied with what I already have and shouldn’t wish for anything better.
To my luck I shared my feelings with a friend and he recommended me a book, which I ordered on Amazon.com straight away. Few days ago I got it and I must say that it is really what I was looking for! I only started to read it, but it already lifted my spirits and made me believe in myself! I already feel very motivated to make significant changes in my life, I feel confident that I can reach any goal I set and I am sure this book will help me. If you want to succeed in life, but don’t believe you can do it – I would strongly recommend David J. Shwartz’s book “The Magic of Thinking Big“! Read it and you will see how your life will change. You can order this book online or ask your friends, maybe they have it. This book is very popular, over 4 million copies sold.
If you have already read it, please tell me what you think? I would love to hear your opinion!
Good luck!

St. Barths – winter get away of rich and famous!
January 10, 2010 by Rich Girl

Christmas and New Years celebration is over, and now it is time to relax a little bit, enjoy the sun and have some fun on the beach. Where do you usually go in the beginning of January, when almost everywhere is cold and windy?! Well, I don’t know about you, but rich and famous people are heading to St. Barths – the tiny paradise island in the Caribbean. St. Barths is a perfect winter get away to escape the cold weather and have lot’s of fun on beautiful beaches.
You will never be bored on St. Barths, because shopping for stylish clothes and fashion accessories is better nowhere else in the Caribbean! Also, what is better than French food and wine?! Exactly, nothing!
And as St. Barths is an overseas collectivity of France, you will find a lot of great restaurants with French cuisine there. St. Barths is also a great spot for windsurfing, surfing, jet skiing, boating, snorkeling and scuba lovers. And those of you who love making paparazzi type of pictures of celebrities need to hurry up, because you will probably be able to stumble upon some stars in the shops or on the beach. For example, Jason Statham, Orlando Bloom, Marc Jacobs, Lindsay Lohan, Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani with kids, Beyonce, Jay-Z and many others where spotted on St. Barths this Holiday season.
If you are traveling by yacht, then you will be able to dock it in the Gustavia port, which is also the capital of St. Barths. For those who travel by plane, St. Barths has a small airport “Gustaf III Airport”, most visiting aircraft carry fewer than twenty passengers directly to the beach at St Jean.
So, if you are looking for active, sexy, hedonistic, and hip vocation spot this winter, with plenty of famous, rich and simply attractive tanned young people as scenery, look no further, go to St. Barths.
I found a great video on Youtube.com made by two travelers about their stay on St. Barths. You will have a better idea about this place, in case you haven’t been there already.
Great video about St. Barths << click the link if the video below is not working
I also would love to hear about your favorite winter get away spot! Please leave a comment below or send me an email! I would love to hear back from you.

Get rich by saving money!
October 29, 2009 by Rich Girl
Ok, so you want to be rich, right? Well, I am (richer than I was, anyway) …and I got here because I was careful with my money.
I made savings, I made investments, I avoided debt and as a result, I made more money than I thought I would – and I want you to as well, so that’s why I’m providing you with this simple guide to help you improve your financial situation and start making money. It won’t happen overnight, so you’ve got to be patient – but by paying attention to the points I’m making, you should be able to improve your financial future.
1. Review your finances as they are now
You won’t make any money if you don’t know how much you’ve already got (unless you win big on the lottery!), so sit down and take a look at how much money you earn each month, and how much money you spend each month.
When you can see an overview of your finances in front of you, you should be able to see where you can make cut backs on your spending to save yourself money.
We are all guilty of buying things we don’t need, and that is where the majority of us waste our money. So make the change, only buy things you need – it will save you a lot of money!
2. Invest in your home to save in the long run
By investing in your home now, you can save a lot of money in the long run. For example, invest in wall insulation, double-glazed windows, insulation for your boiler and thicker curtains.
Of course, there are other investments you can make around your home, but the ones mentioned above are the main ones. By making these investments you can save yourself a lot of money – for example, the investments above will help keep heat in your house during the winter months – which will save you money on your heating bills.
Remember, you can’t make money if you don’t save money – so you should be trying to make as many savings as you possibly can. Every dollar saved is a dollar towards making you rich!
3. Don’t buy what you don’t need – unless you can actually afford it
This is my final point here, but it may well be the most important point to make. If you really want to save money, don’t buy things you don’t need. It’s as simple as that. Save, invest and earn until you have enough money to buy whatever you want. There is no point getting into debt to buy things, this will only push you further away from being rich! (for more about debt click here)
I’ll give you a little example here. Imagine you have $30,000 in your account – and you go out and buy a great car costing $29,000. Yes, you now have a nice car – but you have also wasted a lot of your money, which means that you are no longer ‘rich’. Did you really need that car there and then? Could you have bought a cheaper car…or waited until you could really afford it?
The moral of this little story is only buy that expensive thing when you can afford it (in other words, don’t leave just $1,000 in your account!).
Ok, so these tips won’t actually make you rich, but they will certainly give you the strong financial foundations you need to start making money. We’ve all got to start somewhere, so let’s start today and have a richer future!
Any comments you have about my tips will be greatly appreciated. I’m always interested to find out how other people are trying to become rich, so please let me know what you guys are up to!

Michael Kors – luxury lifestyle
October 21, 2009 by Rich Girl

Rich Girls love Michael Kors designs and I am not the exception.
Actually, I am not into brands, I love things which are of good quality and for me label doesn’t mean a lot. But there is one brand I adore and this brand is Michael Kors. Maybe it is because me and the label were born at the same year?!

I love Michael Kors’ boutique on Rodeo Drive, I have already bought a bag, a purse, a jacket, boots, a couple of sweaters, jeans and a lot of other things there and I know that I will come back for more!!

Not only I love this brand among the celebrities who have worn Michael Kors’ designs are Jennifer Lopez, Elissa, Heidi Klum, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Angelina Jolie, Sharon Stone, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Charlize Theron, Pierce Brosnan, Barbara Streisand, Gwyneth Paltrow, Anjelica Huston, Kate Bosworth, Sigourney Weaver, Usher, Liv Tyler, Rene Russo etc. Joan Allen wore his gown when she was nominated for an Academy Award for “Best Actress” for her role in The Contender. In addition, Jennifer Garner wore a custom creation as an Academy Award presenter in 2006.

As it states on the Michael Kors official website:
Michael Kors is the leading American fashion designer for luxury accessories and sportswear. The company’s heritage is rooted in producing polished, sleek, sophisticated American sportswear with a jet-set attitude. Whether Aspen, Palm Beach or Capri, our mission is to bring our vision of a jet-set, luxury lifestyle to women and men around the globe. Our products, emblematic of the highest standard of quality, include apparel, accessories and beauty. Our lifestyle-driven company embraces the highest standards of creativity, quality, technology and human resources.

Michael Kors began his career in fashion at the age of 19 designing and merchandising a collection for the renowned boutique Lothar’s in New York City. The success of these clothes caught the attention of the fashion press, prompting Kors to strike out on his own. In 1981 the Michael Kors label was formed; his first women’s collection was launched at Bergdorf Goodman and Saks fifth avenue, among other stores. Since his collection was established, it has never strayed from Kors’ initial vision of chic, luxurious American sportswear.

Michael Kors collection flagship boutiques are located in the United States on Madison avenue, at the Americana Manhasset and on rodeo drive in Beverly Hills; international boutiques are located in Hong Kong and Dubai.

Michael Kors received Dupont’s first American original award in 1983 and was awarded the Elle/Cadillac Fashion Award for Excellence in 1995. In addition, he has won two CFDA awards, the most prestigious award in the fashion industry. In 1999, he received the CFDA award for womenswear designer of the year and in 2003, he received the CFDA award for menswear designer of the year. Michael has been a judge on the Emmy-nominated reality television program Project Runway, which currently airs on Bravo.

One more reason why I love Michael Kors is that you don’t need to be super rich to wear his designs and look glamorous and hot. His bags, shoes and outwear are worth saving your money for
Writing this post and looking at these pictures made me feel like rushing to Rodeo Drive!
See you there Rich Girls
Update: check out the post about my visit to brand new Michael Kors boutique in Paris.

Maldives – Heaven on Earth

I want to confess, I hate autumn. This season makes me feel very depressed and I always try to find a good escape. This year I think that I have found a perfect hiding place - Maldives.
Autumn is the best season for planning your trip to Maldives, the rain season which is mainly from May to August is over and it is warm and sunny there now. The temperature in Maldives never falls below 77F (25C) and I was adviced in different travel agencies to visit Maldives any time between November and April.

Picture taken from http://www.picstropical.com
The Maldives is situated in the South West of Sri Lanka, on the equator. The numerous coral reef islands, 1,190 in total, form an archipelago of 26 natural atolls ( groups of neighbouring coral islands). These 26 atolls are organised into 19 administrative atolls with the capital island of Male’ established as an entity of its own forming the twentieth division. Out of the incredibly large number of islands only 202 are inhabited and 87 are exclusive resort islands.

With around 2000 coral reefs, sandbars and coral outcrops, Maldives coral islands are a delight for scuba divers, snorkeling enthusiasts and people who love marine life. The coral reefs and atolls provide shelter for many species of fish, and other marine creatures. You can see numerous colorful fish swimming round the coral reefs in Maldives, while swimming or snorkeling in the clear blue water of the Indian Ocean around Maldives coral islands.

I have heard a lot of amazing stories about Maldives, saw great number of breathtaking pictures, but have never been there myself. One of my friends went on Honeymoon there and I think that they couldn’t find the better place for romantic escape. Clear blue warm water, white sand, and you and your beloved one alone on the island! What can be more romantic?! I am dying to get there?!

I will now start searching for the perfect resort island in Maldives and will share results of my research with you here on Rich Girl’s Club.
I would love to hear your stories about Maldives, if you already been there. Share your adventure with us by leaving your comment below.

“Rich Life’s Tips” – the series of publications to help people understand what means “To Lead a Rich Life” and how to approach it. In “Rich Life’s Tips” you will be bale to find short, inspiring and motivating essays which would hopefully make your way to the riches easier and more fun. This section of the Rich Girl’s Club is made for those people who are only planning to become rich. Really Rich and Successful people are welcome to write their thoughts and share valuable tips and experience here!
I was surprised to find out that there are a lot of people on Earth who doesn’t want to become rich. I used to talk to some people who said, I don’t need it, I have different priorities in life and to have billions in any kind of currency on my account is not my goal. Well, it was really a surprise to me, cause since my early childhood I knew that I want to be rich, period!
So, before you start reading and partisipating in discussions here in Rich Girl’s Club, you need to understand and answer honestly to the following questions:
What does leading a Rich Life really means to you?!
What do you really want and need?! Do you need a huge 15 bedroom mansion in Beverly Hills or it will be enough to have 5 bedroom house somewhere in Florida?! Do you need people who will clean your house, opens the doors to your guests, cooks and buys food for you, takes care of your 20 cars, horses and dogs, cleans your huge pool and waters enormous garden full of exotic plants from all around the world?! Do you actually need all this stuff?
Before you take this long (or short, you never know) trip to riches, you need to know where are you heading to and where will be a milestone on this road when you will be able to say: “Yes! I made it! I am Rich and I am leading a Rich Life!”
I will leave you now to think about your goals and desires. It will be super cool if you could leave your comments or questions below, so we could discuss it.

Schöpfer Yachts for Rich Girls
August 10, 2009 by Rich Girl
Filed under Rich Photos, Rich Travel
I have always dreamt about a yacht, to sail on the Mediterranean Sea with friends and family, have fun under the sun and enjoy life. But when I started to look for the one I would love, I was frustrated to find out that the designs are almost all the same and it is really hard to find something new and modern. It was until I accidentally stumbled upon Schöpfer Yachts website. Now I have finally found the yacht of my dreams, although at the moment it is only a concept and I have no idea about the pricing yet, but at least I know what I want and where to get it.
Below is information about the boats as well as some cool pictures which I took from www.schopferyachts.com:
The Next Generation of Yacht Design
Schöpfer Yachts was founded in 2008 as a US based company dedicated to the pursuit of advanced yacht aesthetics and technology. Schöpfer Yachts is among a new breed of yacht companies, which will secure strategic alliances with the world’s finest naval architects and shipyards. This strategy will allow the flexibility to explore a wide range of design venues while insuring these designs meet and exceed the highest level of maritime standards. To that end, we are pleased to announce that Sparkman and Stephens (New York, Ft. Lauderdale and Newport) will be the naval architect for our first venture, the Oculus. As we enter the next generation of yachting design, we offer our design collection to the global yachting community and to prospective owners who share our vision of innovation and excellence.
Boston, Massachusetts
Sanibel Island, Florida www.schopferyachts.com
At the moment Schöpfer Yachts on their website offer two concepts: Oculus and Infinitas
Oculus
The Oculus is a very futuristic 250-foot yacht, which can accommodate 14 guests and can travel at speeds up to 25 knots.

Infinitas
Infinitas is a 300-foot yacht with a massive recreational pool area in the middle of the ship. It accommodates 16 guests, and pretty much got everything else you might need.
Including a living room on the main deck, a dining room on the other side of the pool area. A sky bridge, kitchen, storage, helicopter platform and other cool stuff.

For more information as well as great pictures visit www.schopferyachts.com
I guess we will be able to look stylish on the Sea now J
What do you think? Do you like such futuristic designs or you prefer more classical yachts?
