10 Best Boots For Cold Season
November 9, 2011 by Rich Girl
One of the reasons why I don’t like winter or autumn is because of the boots. I am more of the shoes and pumps girl. But, what can you do, when it is cold outside you just can’t go outside in shoes. And even in Spain during winter you need to wear something warmer than just shoes or flats. So, I really have no other choice, but to look for some cool stylish boots online.
What I am looking for is comfortable, warm and wear-all-day-long type of boots. I have put together a list of 10 pairs I like the most, all I have to do now is to choose one and just buy it. Girls, could you please help me to choose the boots which you think are the absolute best from the following list and let me know in the comments below. I would really appreciate it!
1 – Jimmy Choo – Doreen Waxed Suede Boots
These tall black waxed suede boots are my absolute favorite so far. I love the gold-toned two-way zipper. I think that they are simple yet stylish. You can wear these with jeans as well as with a skirt or a dress, which is very practical.

2 – Gucci – Camelot High Flat Boots
The only reason I put these tall black textured leather boots by Gucci on my list is because of the rabbit fur lining. These boots are definitely comfortable and warm, but not sexy at all. What do you think, girls?

3 – Gucci – Saint Moritz High Flat Boots
I like these Gucci tall cocoa suede boots. They are definitely comfortable and nice.

4 – Miu Miu – Tall Textured Leather Boots
These tall textured leather boots by Miu Miu is my other best choice. Because I am not a great fun of suede boots, this pair with a pewter-toned exposed zipper at the side seems like the best option even for the rainy days.

5 – Jimmy Choo – Yen Suede Biker Boots
These black suede boots are not tall and look more like men boots, but I somehow like them. I have also seen my friend wearing something similar and they looked cool on her.

6 – Givenchy – Rubber Rain Boots
Ok, rubber boots are my soft spot. I love rubber boots, they are the most comfortable and practical boots in the whole world. Although most of the time they don’t look good, these black rubber rain boots by Givenchy are cool.
7 – Tory Burch – Blaire Riding Boots
I absolutely love these red leather flat boots by Tory Burch.

8 – Vera Wang – Lavender Label York Wedge Boots
These leather wedge boots by Vera Wang look interesting, but I am not sure about the covered wedge heel. Are they going to be comfortable to wear all day long?

9 – KORS Michael Kors – Nicolette Suede Riding Boots
I like these waxed suede boots by Michael Kors. What is important is that they’re already distressed looking, so I don’t really need to worry about anything, I can be rough

10 – UGG Australia – Classic Tall Boots
And finally good old UGG boots. I believe that these are the most comfortable and warm of all, but somehow I am still not sure about them. Every year I think that I should get one pair and still end up not buying. Maybe I should do so this year?

So, here is the list of my favorite boots for this season. What do you think, rich girls? Looking forward to talk to you in the comments below!

Rich Girl Visits Michael Kors Paris Store
April 18, 2011 by Rich Girl
Those of you who have been reading Rich Girls Club for a while know how much I love Michael Kors brand. I love everything about it – handbags, shoes, accessories and dresses and, of course, Michael Kors’ smile. So, when I was in Paris in the middle of March this year, I couldn’t resist the temptation to visit Michael Kors’ brand new store on my favorite street – 279 rue Saint-Honoré.
The store just opened on the 7th of March, a week before I was there. Michael Kors himself was present at the launch of his spanking new boutique, can’t believe I missed it.

Michael Kors 7,000 sq ft, two-storey store in Paris is the largest in his 175-shop chain around the world. The store features the full collection of accessories and apparel, from MICHAEL Michael Kors to KORS to Collection pieces. The store is very spacious and is decorated in luminous white, glass and mirrors, with zebra-skin rugs on the floors, and black and white blow-up photographs.

The moment I entered the store I didn’t want to leave, it was so bright and at the same time cozy, and everyone who worked there was so friendly and helpful. For a moment I thought I could stay there and work as a shop assistant, so that I would never have to leave this place.

I’ve spent what felt like forever trying on things and walking around the store, taking pictures and chatting to the staff. I really enjoyed my time and didn’t leave barehanded. I have found some really cool yellow ballerina flats, which matched my trench coat just perfectly.

I bought a handbag which now is my the most favorite one and some other bits and pieces. Also, as an amazing surprise gift from the store, I received this cool bag with the signed card from Michael Kors. This bag will be very useful when I will start my beach season here in Marbella.

So, I was leaving Michael Kors store with two huge bags and a smile on my face. Shopping can really lift your spirits high.

Oh, and this picture is made especially for the girls, just look how handsome guys at the Michael Kors store in Paris are

So, girls, when you will plan your next visit to Paris, don’t forget to add Michael Kors store to your list of “Must See” things, you will love it there.

Rich Girl and Paris
March 22, 2011 by Rich Girl
This is my anniversary post here on Rich Girl’s Club – #100 and I want to dedicate it to the magical Paris. It is funny, I thought I am writing and writing these posts, but I only got 100! Is it a lot or not? I don’t know, but the more I write here, the more I want to, and I am never going to stop.
So, Paris! I was so fortunate to visit this eternal city of Love this March and also I was lucky to have amazing sunny and warm weather, which was a really nice surprise, as in Spain it was raining and cold.
This was my second visit to Paris and I must say I really fell in love with this city from the second try. Let me explain, although during my first visit to Paris I was celebrating my Birthday, which is also in Spring, and I had amazing time in Disney World (not really, it was cold and I was too old for those rides), and adored Versailles palace (honestly, I want to own this place one day or maybe a little bit smaller version of the mansion, the garden should remain the same size, though), the view from the Eiffel Tower was breathtaking and the twinkling lights on the same tower during night time were better than fireworks, and Sacré Coeur de Montmartre by night was magical! All these things were amazing, but still I was going home from my first visit thinking: “And this is Paris everyone is so crazy about? This is the city you need to die after you have seen it? Really?! Am I missing something?”
So, I wasn’t very impressed by Paris during my first visit and I definitely didn’t fall in love with this city as most other people do, maybe because my expectations were way too high. That is why when I was offered to go to Paris this Spring, I was like – yeah, whatever. And this is where the magic starts!
I had only three days in Paris in the middle of March this year, but I can confess, I really fell in love with this city this time! Paris is wonderful – beautiful, cosmopolitan, chic, adorable, huge, tasty, sweet and sexy. Yes, sexy! Because they have a lot of sexy ladies on the certain streets I accidentally wandered to
This second time I loved to stroll a lot, checked out different Brasseries, drank wine, were riding a lot in the subway, got lost in Galleries Lafayette, got a lot of sugar in my blood after sampling way too much of French macarons even in McDonalds (I love, love macarons!), spent all my money on Rue Saint-Honoré (damn, Michael Kors opened amazing huge store there just few days before my arrival), meditated in Buddha Bar over cocktails and sushi, I even wrote my most desired wish to God in the huge book in Notre Dame de Paris (but shush, don’t tell anyone, I still hope it was a book for writing wishes not a guest-book or something).
Anyway, this time Paris showed me it’s real face that I loved and I will definitely come back for more. And I want to write much more about Paris, but let’s just leave something for the next post – #101.
Do you like Paris, rich girls and boys? What do you find magical in this city? Would love to hear from you!

Oscars 2011 Dresses Picked By Rich Girl
March 2, 2011 by Rich Girl
I have spent almost the whole day searching for the dresses I might like from the Oscars Red Carpet 2011. Since I haven’t seen the ceremony this year (I’ve spent amazing weekend in Seville instead), it was hard for me to figure out who was attending and who wasn’t. For example, I was disappointed to know that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were not attending any of the Oscars events. Such a shame! Red Carpet really missed the perfect girl with taste and grace.
I don’t know what you girls think about the dresses that celebrity girls have chosen to wear for the 83rd Academy Awards Red Carpet, but I must say I was disappointed. The stylists now try to convince everyone that the simplest the better, but I think this is BORING! Like this girl, Jennifer Lawrence, wearing Calvin Klein red dress and everyone going crazy about it. Hello, people?! This is the most boring dress I have ever seen. Ok, the girl does have a really great body, but this is not the dress for the major event of the industry! Or, am I missing something?
It looked like the most of the girls were so afraid to appear in the worst dressed section of different magazines and online resources, that they have just decided not to risk at all, go with the classic and simple look, just to be on the safe side. Well, these girls will definitely won’t appear on the Rich Girl’s Club pages with such attitude
Let’s get back to the best dresses from the 83rd Academy Awards Red Carpet according to the Rich Girl. Unfortunately this list won’t be as long and interesting as the one I did for the Golden Globes 2011, because most of the dresses were lacking imagination.
The best looking girl on the Oscars 2011 to my mind was Camila Alves – model and mother of 2 kids with Matthew McConaughey. I loved how the black Kaufman Franco dress looked on her on the Red Carpet…

… and the Zuhair Murad Spring 2011 Couture gown she had chosen for the Vanity Fair party.

Returning to the Red Carpet, the other two girls I liked were Halle Berry in nude and crystal encrusted Marchesa corset gown and Hilary Swank in Gucci Premiere couture dress. There was something magical about these dresses, they looked like fairy princesses.

And that’s about it from the Red Carpet for me. Very sad, I was looking forward to at least have ten favorite dresses from the Oscars 2011. To my delight there were some interesting dresses on the Oscars after parties.
I really loved Gwyneth Paltrow and the suntan dress by Michael Kors, which she was wearing for the Vanity Fair party.

I also loved Atelier Versace gown with Swarovski crystal detailing which Charlize Theron wore for the Vanity Fair party…

… and Eva Mendes in custom Donna Karan black dress at the same party.

This is about it, I haven’t found the best and perfect dress from the Oscars 2011, but I did find the cutest couple – Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez
Aren’t they two adorable little teenagers?!

What gift to buy for a Rich Girl?!
November 30, 2010 by Rich Girl
When we are invited for a birthday or wedding or any other special event, we all going crazy shopping for presents. It is always fun, but also a lot of trouble to choose the perfect gift for our loved ones, friends, friends babies, relatives, pets, colleagues, hairdressers, masseurs, just good acquaintance and so on.
But today we are not going to look into what to get to all listed above, although maybe it is time to buy those stylish beds for our pets I was writing about earlier.
I want to finally cover the most frequently asked question: What gift to get for a Rich Girl?!
Well, the first thing you need to consider before you start shopping for a Rich Girl is who you are to her? If you are a boyfriend you probably know exactly what your little spoiled girl wants and is expecting from you. All you need to do is to really listen to what she says and really pay attention. Like if she says:”Oh, they (name of the brand goes here) have such a cool new handbag. I soooo want it!! But, well, I have a lot of bags, I don’t know what to do with all of them.” Here we go, she mentioned the brand and design. All you need to do is go and get it for her. And don’t think too much about how many bags she already has. Any girl, not just Rich Girl can’t have too many bags. Never! The same applies to shoes and other accessories. But, of course, if you want to propose to her, you need to have another plan and as a result different shopping.
For parents it is always better to ask what their daughter wants. If a Rich Girl has a sister, then she probably knows better than the Rich Girl itself what she wants. So, no recommendations needed. Also, Rich Girl friends who are rich themselves they can use their personal concierge to get the best possible advices on what is hot in luxury industry and what will be cool to get for their friend to stand out of the rest of the crowd.
So, I guess we came to the point where recommendations and gift ideas on what present to buy for the girl who already has everything mostly needed by friends and acquaintance who are not well-off and can not afford expensive things. These people are always worried what gift to buy, so it won’t look cheap and could actually bring joy.
Well, it’s really a tough one, but achievable. First you need to remember, don’t give her cash, unless she specifically indicated that that’s what she wanted as a present. I wouldn’t recommend giving cash to anyone on their Birthday or Christmas, not only Rich Girl. Christmas and Birthdays are all about presents, about the magic of unwrapping and see what’s inside. It is a ritual we all used to since childhood, so don’t spoil the fun. Unless, as I said before, the recipient specifically asked you to not get them anything, just cash.
Another important thing to remember is, don’t think that if Rich Girl has it all, she doesn’t care about presents! She does. Everyone loves presents, they not need to be expensive, but they need to be picked with love, just like for anyone else. Rich Girl is the same human being as you are, she just can afford a little bit more.
And the last thing is that Rich Girl probably is aware of your situation with money, so don’t worry she won’t expect something over the top from you. So, don’t spend more than you can afford, no one needs that.
Ok, so before we get to the list of things I recommend you to look at while shopping for a gift for a Rich Girl, here is a small list of what you should NOT buy:
- Accessories
- Handbags
- Shoes
- Apparel
Why not to look at these items? Because these things mostly depend on your personal taste and your budget. It is too much of the risk to actually get something which Rich Girl will love and will actually wear. Don’t risk with your money, this is not worth it. Unless you know for sure what she wants, like I mentioned before with boyfriend example.
So, finally what gift to get for a Rich Girl:
1) Manicure, Pedicure & Spa Package Gift Certificates. This present will be warmly welcomed by any Rich Girl who loves to be pampered and taken care of. And do you know a girl who doesn’t want to have a nice facial or massage, or at least manicure?! So, this gift is perfect, useful and you can adjust it to your budget. The best site to buy SPA packages that I have found so far is SPAFinder.com. Gift certificates from SPAfinder.com are accepted at over 5,000 spas worldwide & never expire! They now can be printed or emailed! So don’t worry about a last minute gift! More at SpaFinder.
2) Exclusive hand-made luxurious chocolate. All girls love chocolate, right? But if I were buying chocolates for a Rich Girl I would choose something special, luxurious and unique. Something like zChocolat.com. What is really special about this chocolate is that you can engrave your special message on a box or put a photograph, select chocolates and the box. Just have a look at their site. You will be amazed how a box of chocolate can be such a perfect and unforgettable gift.
3) Clarisonic: Waterproof sonic skin care brush. Sonic skin cleansing system for face & body! This is an absolute must have for every girl who is serious about her looks and beauty. If you are sure that the girl you are trying to impress doesn’t have Clarisonic already, she will be head over hills with this product! Trust me, I know! And you can even engrave something on it, so that she can always remember you.
4) Accessories for iPhone or iPad, if she has one in the first place. A lot of designers came up with really cool and stylish accessories for iPhones and now iPads, so just search for one you think your friend will like. Bottega Veneta, Micheal Kors, Louis Vuitton have cool covers to choose from.
5) Get her something interesting and unusual. Like I found on Amazon this cool digital photo frame fridge magnet. I think it is cool and interesting. You actually can upload your picture with Rich Girl to this magnet and present it as a friends forever gift.
6) Handmade gifts. The other presents I like are those made with your own hands. Of course, if you know what you are doing! Like, if you have never done anything before, better practice a lot before even considering to present your Rich Girl with your handcrafted goods. But, if you are really good at something, if all your friends say that you are such a great jewelry maker or painter or baker, then you can do something special for a Rich Girl. What is cool about handcrafted presents, is that they are unique and exclusive. There will be no other Rich Girl in the whole world with the same thing and this adds a lot of value. Also, it will probably will take a lot of your time (so, think twice before even starting!) and effort which is also priceless! Everyone can appreciate handmade goods.

If you want to make exactly what you see on this picture the tutorial is here
7) Photo Session. If you are a photographer or you know one, you can organize a photo session for your friend. The whole experience can be so much fun, if planned and organized beforehand.
So, these are the most cool, interesting and affordable gift ideas to get for Rich Girl I can think of at the moment. Please, tell me what was her reaction when you presented her one of the recommended gifts, if you will choose any. I would love to know!
If you have any other ideas, you are welcome to share them with me, by posting your comment below! I will be updating this list frequently, so if you have a very cool idea I will be glad to add it to the list.
Happy shopping!

Michael Kors – luxury lifestyle
October 21, 2009 by Rich Girl
Filed under Rich Fashion, Rich Photos
Rich Girls love Michael Kors designs and I am not the exception.
Actually, I am not into brands, I love things which are of good quality and for me label doesn’t mean a lot. But there is one brand I adore and this brand is Michael Kors. Maybe it is because me and the label were born at the same year?!

I love Michael Kors’ boutique on Rodeo Drive, I have already bought a bag, a purse, a jacket, boots, a couple of sweaters, jeans and a lot of other things there and I know that I will come back for more!!

Not only I love this brand among the celebrities who have worn Michael Kors’ designs are Jennifer Lopez, Elissa, Heidi Klum, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Angelina Jolie, Sharon Stone, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Charlize Theron, Pierce Brosnan, Barbara Streisand, Gwyneth Paltrow, Anjelica Huston, Kate Bosworth, Sigourney Weaver, Usher, Liv Tyler, Rene Russo etc. Joan Allen wore his gown when she was nominated for an Academy Award for “Best Actress” for her role in The Contender. In addition, Jennifer Garner wore a custom creation as an Academy Award presenter in 2006.

As it states on the Michael Kors official website:
Michael Kors is the leading American fashion designer for luxury accessories and sportswear. The company’s heritage is rooted in producing polished, sleek, sophisticated American sportswear with a jet-set attitude. Whether Aspen, Palm Beach or Capri, our mission is to bring our vision of a jet-set, luxury lifestyle to women and men around the globe. Our products, emblematic of the highest standard of quality, include apparel, accessories and beauty. Our lifestyle-driven company embraces the highest standards of creativity, quality, technology and human resources.

Michael Kors began his career in fashion at the age of 19 designing and merchandising a collection for the renowned boutique Lothar’s in New York City. The success of these clothes caught the attention of the fashion press, prompting Kors to strike out on his own. In 1981 the Michael Kors label was formed; his first women’s collection was launched at Bergdorf Goodman and Saks fifth avenue, among other stores. Since his collection was established, it has never strayed from Kors’ initial vision of chic, luxurious American sportswear.

Michael Kors collection flagship boutiques are located in the United States on Madison avenue, at the Americana Manhasset and on rodeo drive in Beverly Hills; international boutiques are located in Hong Kong and Dubai.

Michael Kors received Dupont’s first American original award in 1983 and was awarded the Elle/Cadillac Fashion Award for Excellence in 1995. In addition, he has won two CFDA awards, the most prestigious award in the fashion industry. In 1999, he received the CFDA award for womenswear designer of the year and in 2003, he received the CFDA award for menswear designer of the year. Michael has been a judge on the Emmy-nominated reality television program Project Runway, which currently airs on Bravo.

One more reason why I love Michael Kors is that you don’t need to be super rich to wear his designs and look glamorous and hot. His bags, shoes and outwear are worth saving your money for
Writing this post and looking at these pictures made me feel like rushing to Rodeo Drive!
See you there Rich Girls
