Marbella - wedding spot!

Marbella is not only place for rich girls, glamorous parties and fancy beach clubs, but it is also a picturesque spot to have a wedding. I just found out that one of my favorite singers Julio Iglesias got married in Marbella.
As the official statement says on Julio Iglesias website - Julio and his girlfriend Miranda got married on August 24th in the private ceremony in the parish of Virgen del Carmen of Marbella. The newlyweds will settle in the village of Ojen, not far from Marbella, where they have a large estate, Iglesias’ agent told the Press.

According to the number of beautiful white doves hanging around the beach, a lot of people decide to marry in Marbella.
As to me, I would definitely organize wedding on the beach. It is so romantic. I still remember the wedding of my friends, which I was honored to attend, the celebration took place on the beach in Antibes. It was just like in a fairytale.

Eva Longoria Parker in Marbella, Spain

One more rich and famous girl visits Marbella this August “Desperate Housewife” Eva Longoria Parker! Eva visited Marbella for the first time last year with her husband and now she is back for the Starlight Gala on August 7 at the Hotel Villa Padierna in Marbella (the same place where Michelle Obama is staying).

Eva Longoria Parker will be co-hosting the charity event with Antonio Banderas, and as “Marbella Hot Magazine” is saying: “The guest list at the star studded event already includes tennis legend Boris Becker and model Adriana Karembeu.” And as Michelle Obama is staying at the same hotel where the event will take place, maybe she will make an appearance as well.

The Starlite Gala is a unique Annual International Charity Gala bringing together the worlds of business, celebrity and philanthropy to raise money to improve the quality of the lives of communities, families and children in need.. everywhere!

Welcome to Marbella, Eva Longoria Parker!! I hope you will go out to party in Puerto Banus or Olivia Valere, this is where I will be this Saturday By the way, I really enjoy your part in “Desperate Housewives”

Michelle Obama in Marbella, Spain

Hey, Rich Girls! Remember I was telling you in one of my previous posts that Marbella is a holiday spot for rich and famous girls (and of course not only girls, there are a lot of well-off guys here as well ) and I was not lying!! Guess who has chosen Marbella as a holiday destination this August?! The First Lady of the of the United States of America herself!! Now you believe me that Marbella is a hot and glamorous holiday spot?! I told you!
Michelle Obama and her her 9-year-old daughter Sasha arrived in Malaga airport in Spain on Wednesday (4th of August 2010) for a brief holiday with family friends!! How cool is that?!

Michelle Obama with friends will be staying in one of the premier luxury hotels in Marbella – the Hotel Villa Padierna.

Michelle Obama already visited the city center of Marbella and went for sightseeing in Granada. The White House says the first lady will also pay an official visit Sunday to King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia at their summer home on Mallorca.

I can’t believe my luck This is my first summer in Marbella and I have already witnessed Spain winning The World Cup celebration and now the visit of the First Lady! This summer Rocks!!

Marbella - Rich Girls holiday spot

Summer is just around the corner and it is time to pack for an unforgettable adventures and luxurious relaxation on the beach. I love summer, the most amazing things in my life happened to me during three summer months and that’s why I am so anxious. Have you already planned your summer holiday?! Are you going to stay in your house in Hampton or travel around the world? As I mentioned before I will spend my summer 2010 in Marbella with lots of parties and occasional trips throughout Europe. And as I am going to be here it is only logical that I would love to share more information about this glamorous and luxurious resort city with you.

Marbella is a high-profile place and I am even not afraid to call Marbella as the one of the most luxurious resort towns in the world. Marbella is the mix of Saint-Tropez and Monte Carlo with huge marina and exquisite parties, with numerous villas of some of the richest people on Earth. Marbella is a Mecca of prestigious charm and up scale living. If you are looking for relaxing retreat or an upbeat getaway for parties and entertainment, Marbella can meet any request with ease. Super-rich Saudi princes, Hollywood and various sports stars, European royalty and billionaire tycoons choose Marbella for their vacation and living.

You can find anything you are looking for in Marbella - numerous golf courses, tennis courts, famous Puerto Banus – with great number of bars and nightclubs, yachts, celebrities, glamour and exclusive and expensive designer boutiques, casino, cinema, beach clubs and much more. So, guess I have managed to convince you that Marbella is the perfect Rich Girls’ hang out place for summer. And I haven’t even mentioned about the parties yet!!

The parties here are crazy! Imagine spraying vintage champagne all day long on each other?! This happens in Ocean Club’s famous Sunday Champagne Spraying Parties and Nikki Beach’s Champagne World Tour Party. These are the most luxurious parties with rivers of expensive champagne, beautiful people, sun and music. Last year, OCEAN CLUB was the biggest outlet in the World for Veuve Cliquot largely due to Champagne Spraying parties where over 2000 bottles got sprayed throughout the afternoon. Legendary SINTILLATE CHAMPAGNE SPRAYING SUNDAY PARTIES at OCEAN CLUB are taking place at the end of every month. This year on 30th May, 27th June, 25th July and 29th August. The cheapest entry for this party is 100 Euros, including 1 bottle VL. But Rich Girls usually party with friends and no doubt order Super VIP Square for 12 people, which cost 2975 Euros. Nikki Beach Champagne World Tour Parties are different, but also lots of fun and the nearest will take place on Saturday, July 24th. St. Barths - winter get away of rich and famous!

Christmas and New Years celebration is over, and now it is time to relax a little bit, enjoy the sun and have some fun on the beach. Where do you usually go in the beginning of January, when almost everywhere is cold and windy?! Well, I don’t know about you, but rich and famous people are heading to St. Barths - the tiny paradise island in the Caribbean. St. Barths is a perfect winter get away to escape the cold weather and have lot’s of fun on beautiful beaches.

You will never be bored on St. Barths, because shopping for stylish clothes and fashion accessories is better nowhere else in the Caribbean! Also, what is better than French food and wine?! Exactly, nothing! And as St. Barths is an overseas collectivity of France, you will find a lot of great restaurants with French cuisine there. St. Barths is also a great spot for windsurfing, surfing, jet skiing, boating, snorkeling and scuba lovers. And those of you who love making paparazzi type of pictures of celebrities need to hurry up, because you will probably be able to stumble upon some stars in the shops or on the beach. For example, Jason Statham, Orlando Bloom, Marc Jacobs, Lindsay Lohan, Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani with kids, Beyonce, Jay-Z and many others where spoted on St. Barths this Holiday season.

If you are traveling by yacht, then you will be able to dock it in the Gustavia port, which is also the capital of St. Barths. For those who travel by plane, St. Barths has a small airport “Gustaf III Airport”, most visiting aircraft carry fewer than twenty passengers directly to the beach at St Jean.

So, if you are looking for active, sexy, hedonistic, and hip vocation spot this winter, with plenty of famous, rich and simply attractive tanned young people as scenery, look no further, go to St. Barths.

Maldives - Heaven on Earth

I want to confess, I hate autumn. This season makes me feel very depressed and I always try to find a good escape. This year I think that I have found a perfect hiding place - Maldives.

Autumn is the best season for planning your trip to Maldives, the rain season which is mainly from May to August is over and it is warm and sunny there now. The temperature in Maldives never falls below 77F (25C) and I was adviced in different travel agencies to visit Maldives any time between November and April.

The Maldives is situated in the South West of Sri Lanka, on the equator. The numerous coral reef islands, 1,190 in total, form an archipelago of 26 natural atolls ( groups of neighbouring coral islands). These 26 atolls are organised into 19 administrative atolls with the capital island of Male’ established as an entity of its own forming the twentieth division. Out of the incredibly large number of islands only 202 are inhabited and 87 are exclusive resort islands.

With around 2000 coral reefs, sandbars and coral outcrops, Maldives coral islands are a delight for scuba divers, snorkeling enthusiasts and people who love marine life. The coral reefs and atolls provide shelter for many species of fish, and other marine creatures. You can see numerous colorful fish swimming round the coral reefs in Maldives, while swimming or snorkeling in the clear blue water of the Indian Ocean around Maldives coral islands.

I have heard a lot of amazing stories about Maldives, saw great number of breathtaking pictures, but have never been there myself. One of my friends went on Honeymoon there and I think that they couldn’t find the better place for romantic escape. Clear blue warm water, white sand, and you and your beloved one alone on the island! What can be more romantic?! I am dying to get there?!

But when I started to look for the one I would love, I was frustrated to find out that the designs are almost all the same and it is really hard to find something new and modern. Oculus

The Oculus is a very futuristic 250-foot yacht, which can accommodate 14 guests and can travel at speeds up to 25 knots.

Infinitas

Infinitas is a 300-foot yacht with a massive recreational pool area in the middle of the ship. It accommodates 16 guests, and pretty much got everything else you might need.

Including a living room on the main deck, a dining room on the other side of the pool area. A sky bridge, kitchen, storage, helicopter platform and other cool stuff.

Nurai island
