Choosing The Right Jewelry For Every Outfit
By Guest Post
Picking the right outfit takes time. And it matters. Oh, how it matters. With the right combination of clothes, you can become the prettiest fairy princess as easily as you can become a dancefloor owning dominatrix. Settling on the right clothes isn’t the whole picture though: it’s perfectly possible for you to absolutely butcher even the most perfect outfit by accessorizing it in the wrong way. So how can you be sure of picking the perfect piece? Read on!
We’ll start with the dull stuff: work. Whilst it’s fair game to think of your job as glorified fuel for your shopping addiction (I do), looking good is an important part of turning up for the 9-5 slog. Needless to say, office jewellery shouldn’t be overdone: this will just give you the look of someone who’s trying to pull the boss. (Obviously you’re welcome to try this, but being seen to do so is never a bad thing…). Smaller, more subtle pieces are the way forward: small earrings, necklaces or even a bracelet can look great. Needless to say, the 24 carat ear-rings that are the size of your stiletto should probably be left at home
Right, the boring bit covered, we can move onto the bits you really care about: those gorgeous, figure-hugging dresses that have all your best friends secretly hating you. And attracting admiring glances from every man in the room. Every girl’s dream, obviously.
Picking the right jewellery for the right dress is an artform in it’s own right. Just as a man’s personality can be securely judged by his belt, shoes and watch, so we can judge our fellow girls by their necklace, earrings and pendants.
Necklaces are, as you’re probably very aware, reliant on the neck lining of the dress. If you prefer heart-shaped or strapless bodices, then you’ll want something that reaches your collarbone, as this will help to emphasise your bare neck and shoulders. For v-necks, a pendant or drop necklace with a centerpiece is the best way to highlight the “girls” (I heard that term from Scarlett Johansson, and can’t stop using it!). If you’ve got an open collar, then a thicker, chunkier piece is normally the best approach. Your standard square neck is best accentuated by a long chain.
It’s not only necklaces that can prove to be a bit of a disaster: it’s perfectly possible to ruin a beautiful dress with the wrong set of earrings. Not that I’m trying to scare you, obviously, but this stuff matters! Fortunately, getting it right is just a case of picking the right variety to suit your face:
Round/Fuller Faces: Go for length. Narrow and elongated earrings can effectively balance the shape of a rounder face.
Thin/Longer Faces: As you might have guessed, the reverse applies, with close-to-the-ear, rounder earrings the most appropriate choice.
Squarer Faces: As a rather square faced girl myself, I once made the mistake of wearing square earrings. The result? I looked like a rubix cube. Hooped earrings all the way for this one!
Heart-shaped Faces: As with squarer faces, round earrings are the right way forward, as they’ll soften the angles – if you’re really looking for something longer, then teardrop or pyramid shapes will look great.
Oval Faces: If you’ve got a more oval face, then count yourself lucky: you’ll fit virtually anything! Not that I’m jealous… much.

5 Tips for Romantic Make-Up
By Guest Post
If you’re beau has called you for a spontaneous dinner the same day, then fret not, as you can look extremely romantic without having to make that last minute dash at the salon. Love and romance are normally associated with reds and pinks, so try to play it safe by using these romantic colors to make your night a romantic one. Here are a few beauty tips, that can make you look drop-dead gorgeous in minutes!
1. Honey-suckle natural make-up
Try not to go overboard with a lot of red from head to toe. Try to mix in light pinks with the red. Opt for a bright red glossy lip color and opt for nude-pink blush and eye shadow. A subtle and fresh look would definitely make you look young and romantic.
2. The Cinderella make-up
The make-up worm by Natalie Portman in ‘Swan’ is perhaps a very romantic look. The gorgeous bun on the nape of the neck with the eyes defined clearly with a liquid liner combined with luscious matte red or pink lips is the perfect make-up for a romantic date!
3. Smoky eye make-up
A sure-shot way to get the sexy look would be to create a smoky look around your eyes by first outlining your eyes with a liquid liner and then smudging it in soft backward strokes to create a smoky effect. Your cat eyes will make you look enchanting. Complete the smoky eye look with a light pink or a glossy red lip shade to get that classy and romantic look. You could add more sensuousness to your eyes with false eyelashes on your top eyelids to achieve a dreamy look.

4. Luscious red lips
The lips are the most attractive feature of the face and will attract your partner’s attention almost instantly if you cover them with bright glossy red lip color! Ladies with fairer skin can carry off red lips with ease, whereas pink would look sensuous on ladies with darker skin tones. Try experimenting with the shade of red that you want or whether matte or glossy lip color suits you or not. A red velvety shade or a deep berry color would be classic picks.
5. Flirtatious eye make-up
For creating the flirty eye look, try applying a dark-colored eye shadow that contrasts your outfit in color. For instance, grey smoky eyes with a red dress would look extremely gorgeous. Create an aura of romance by tying your hair in a high ponytail so that all the attention is drawn to your face and your flirty eyes. Pick a color that flatters your eyes and try warmer tones like peaches, browns, corals that you can apply over the eyelid in order to balance the smokey color on the crease of the eyelid. Blues, lilacs and greens also look gorgeous – so just experiment and see what works well for you!
In order to bring in an element of romance in your make-up, try to opt for lighter hues on the lips, if you plan to accentuate the eyes. If you opt for a darker lip shade, then try to opt for a shimmery single-colored eye-shadow. Do not limit yourself to reds and pinks for the eyes, because contrasting colors always bring in more pizzazz to the overall look.

Home Improvements Celebrity Style
By Guest Post
For some individuals, money really isn’t a problem. In fact, either they have been born into money or they have made lots of it working or investing. Regardless, people who have money learn to appreciate spending it, and their homes are one of the first places where extravagant sums of money are going to be spent in order to create luxurious living accommodations.
Therefore, creating extravagant home improvements is a popular pastime. It is an easy task that is probably just as rewarding as it is expensive. When you are rich, though, money is no object and all of the home improvements in the world are readily accessible for a few million dollars.
All too often, celebrities buy a home for millions of dollars only to wait one or more years as extravagant renovations are completed according to their specifications. In some cases, these celebrities purchase a home that already has several million dollars worth of extravagant changes incorporated inside and outside of its walls, so adding a few more expensive renovations should fit right in.
Take Jennifer Aniston who purchased a huge Beverly Hills mansion for only $13.5 million in 2006 and then decided she needed to completely renovate it. She added a Koi pond in the entrance hall, professional catering kitchen (that is hidden by the primary kitchen), a Japanese spa, and extravagant pool with a cabana. Perhaps the most intriguing and unexpected renovation is the Koi pond. How would you like to be greeted by a few gorgeously golden Koi as you entered your home? In 2011, Aniston placed the mansion on the market with a $42 million price tag because as Jennifer puts it, the mansion was “too much” for her to manage. Maybe she tired of hanging out at the pool and planning huge parties so she could take advantage of that catering kitchen.
Sports personality Scott Farrell not only wanted a “man cave,” he wanted an incredible one complete with all the bells and whistles. He recently had a lower-level room remodeled into a sound proof work station/ home studio. He had all of the proper equipment he needed to work over the air installed including an “ONAIR” sign and an in-the-wall fish tank. Plus, he had a large interior window installed so that he can keep an eye on the kids while he works.

If you have children or a large family, then you may want to pick up a few tips on home remodeling from the Spelling family. Not only does the mansion, originally owned by Aaron Spelling, have its own tennis court, a home feature that has become quite commonplace, but it also has a bowling alley, several swimming pools, and a skating rink. If your family can’t find something enjoyable to do there, then they might just be in awe of the millions of dollars that have been spent there.
Perhaps you might be interested in a celebrity mansion that has everything except a mall or marketplace? However, there is always online shopping and take out for dinner. Chris Paul, an NBA star, recently purchased singer Avril Lavigne’s mansion. Lavigne originally purchased this luxurious mansion from Travis Barker, Blink-182’s drummer. This home has it all – rooms for play, rest, work, workout, and more. The home includes not one but two offices, a gym, and a garage built to hold ten vehicles. For relaxation, residents of this mansion get to enjoy a pool, spa, and wine cellar. The backyard even has its own covered living room! Plus, the master bedroom is like a small studio apartment complete with kitchenette, dual baths, and huge closets.
There are numerous ways how to spend your money and remodeling and home improvement is just one of many.

Eco-Friendly Fashion
By Guest Post
Creating fashion involves a lot of exploitation of animals, non-biodegradable materials and artificial fabrics that makes it environmentally unfriendly. However, due the rising awareness of environmental responsibility, a lot of designers are opting for eco-friendly fashion trends that would change the face of fashion completely in the coming decade.
Buying chic clothes and accessories that do not require animal slaughter
A lot of people cave in to fashion trends, such as leather Birkin bag, which requires the slaughter of animals. You can see dozens of models strutting down the ramp during the Fashion Week clad in attire made out of fur, leather or suede in a bid to sell fashion. However, there are other designers that are more sensitive to the need for eco-friendly wear and they have come out with clothes and accessories that almost mimic the original leather ones! Keeping in view of the changing public opinion to ‘green’ fashion, a lot of manufacturers are coming out with ‘eco-chic’ fabrics that are pocket-friendly. Bourgeois Boehme is one such manufacturer of organic bags and shoes whose designs are very impressive.
Buying clothes that are colored by using eco-friendly dyeing techniques
There is another designer called Costello Taliapietra who has come out with a unique AirDye technique which is eco-friendly. Through this technique, AirDye basically puts the colors inside the fabric and all this is done without water. This remarkable technique saves on 45 gallons of water, 95 megajoules of energy/dress and 3 kilos worth of greenhouse gases! Pepe’s latest ‘organic jeans’ are dyed with ozone technology that saves on water, energy and this process is non-toxic.
‘Refashion’ or creating fashion by recycling old clothes
Lilian Asterfield is another designer who actually is a ‘refashion label’ as she does the most unique thing with old scarves and neckties by turning them into ruffle scarves, hairbands and brooches! She makes a wide range of colorful and elegant ruffles collar-like scarves for both men and women out of used vintage ties and neckties with a fun pattern. The best part is that her ware is absolutely affordable!
Investing in less expensive accessories with a high practicality quotient
Style and fashion should be more synonymous with comfort and practicality and should not be judged with a high price tag. Instead of splurging all your savings on a limited edition high end watch, it would be rather practical to invest in a cheaper silicone watch that probably has more advantages. The material does not crack, is non-toxic, and causes no irritation to the skin and many more.
Choosing organic cotton over regular cotton
Cotton is one of the most-preferred fabrics of all; however, little do we know that it requires plenty of chemicals for its treatment which leads to environmental concerns. Even Pepe is manufacturing their jeans with organic cotton. However, the fabric that environmentalists should watch out for would be organic cotton, which is sustainable, skin friendly and toxic-free!
Eco-friendly fashion would certainly rule the roost in the future fashion events, as this industry is also bracing up for these significantly ‘green’ changes. It is important for us to support this movement and try to buy clothes that are not made out of animal leather, fur or inorganic cotton. ‘Ecouterre’ or eco- friendly fashion is not merely a passing trend, but is here to stay!

Exclusive Sailing Destinations To Moor Your Yacht In The Mediterranean
By Guest Post
Sailing the Mediterranean Sea is a dream come true for almost any yacht owner, charter guide, or lover of the sea. The Mediterranean invokes images of azure waters, luscious beaches, white-painted villages and blue-roofed homes. Cruising through the Mediterranean can provide both an immersion into regional culture and a trip into waters that are among the finest in the world. Due to the huge population of Europe and Asia, however, the Mediterranean Sea can be a congested place — unless you know of certain hidden gems that allow you to drop anchor and enjoy a little exclusive privacy on the water.
The Amalfi Coast is among the most beautiful and unique locations in the world. In this region of Italy, homes are built into the sides of towering sea cliffs, seemingly defying gravity and logic in the process. An average of 310 days of sunshine a year makes this section of the Mediterranean an ideal destination to sail, sip wine and simply relax. The Amalfi Coast contains several small islets with an abundance of little coves that are ideal for anchoring your yacht. If you are feeling adventurous, slip into the warm water to try your luck at diving for sponges, a specialty of the region.
Although the island of Malta may have one of the highest population densities in Europe, it still contains no shortage of private coves and harbors along the island’s coast, especially on its northern side. As a bonus, Malta offers hundreds of kilometers of hiking trails that criss-cross the island through historic remains of British castles and forts left from the Crusades of many centuries before.

Gozo is a very small island off the Maltese Coast. Gozo is a rare gem because it is a rarely visited destination with which few people are familiar. Keep this one to yourself and set sail to Gozo. As an added benefit, the island offers a small marina and harbor with full services for the sailing captain and crew.
Croatia has become one of the go-to destinations in the Mediterranean for many reasons. Croatia is emerging as a top tourist destination, especially along the Dalmatian Coast. It is easy to slip away from the fishing boats, yachts and pleasure boats and stake out your own private piece of coastline along the tranquil Croatian waterfront. For a true taste of the Croatian coastal life, and the charm of a Dalmatian village, make your way to the Harbour Telašćica and drop anchor. Harbour Telašćica is near Kornati, and contains many fresh fish markets, small wineries and quaint cafes.

The Turkish Mediterranean Coast is a region that some call the cradle of Western Civilization. It is certainly true that it is a region of beauty and history. You can find safe harbor in many of the small, tucked away coves on the Turkish coat. The region near Ephesus is particularly beautiful, so relax, soak up the sun and see the country where east and west converge. To view the region’s most beautiful scenery, start in the harbor of Izmir, Turkey’s second largest city, and then sail down the coast until you reach the small coves surrounding Ephesus itself. You will not be sorry.

How Celebrities Get Those Perfect Smiles
By Guest Post
When you are watching TV or flipping through a gossip magazine, you may wonder why every celebrity you see has pearly white, sparkling, perfect teeth. While some of them are born with them, the rest have a secret. Their secret to perfect teeth their dentist. Their dentist has given them those perfect teeth by using dental veneers and composite fillings. Dental veneers and composite fillings can give anyone those perfect movie star teeth. So, if you always wanted to have that perfect celebrity smile, now you know what you have to do.
Dental veneers are thin caps that go over the front of your teeth to give them a perfect, white appearance. They are usually made out of a ceramic porcelain-like material that looks exactly like a normal tooth. They allow some light to pass through them like natural teeth and they can be ordered in custom shades and are shaped to fit your teeth perfectly. Veneers can also fix problems such as slightly misaligned teeth or teeth that are chipped.
To get your own dental veneers you need to visit your dentist. Your dentist will take custom molds of your teeth and send them off to a laboratory where they will make your veneers from the molds of your natural teeth. This way, your new veneers will fit you perfectly. Once your veneers are completed and double checked for quality, they are sent back to your dentist. During your second visit, your dentist will shave a very thin layer off the surface of your front teeth and tightly bond the new veneers on to them. These veneers will give you a flawless, perfectly straight, and bright white smile fit for a movie star.

The second secret of beautiful celebrity smiles is composite fillings. When you get a filling, your dentist drills out the bad part of the tooth and fills it in with a gold or silver colored metal. That was the old way of doing it. These days dentist use a compound that matches the color of your natural teeth to fill in the hole. But you are not out of luck if you already have a mouth full of ugly metal fillings. You can have your dentist replace your old metal fillings with the new white composite fillings. This will return your mouth to its natural look and give you the confidence to smile and laugh without worrying about exposing a mouth full of metal.
So if you want to get that slick celebrity look for your smile, ask your dentist about composite fillings and dental veneers. It is going to cost you a bit of money, so be prepared for that but if you feel like your teeth are distracting or you just want them to be perfect, then it is worth it to you. And once your smile is at its best, you will feel like a million bucks (which is a pretty good deal because you will spend far less than that on your veneers and composite fillings).

How to Keep Your Priceless Jewellery Looking Brand New
By Guest Post
Although most of us never want to sell our Jewellery and would have to come on tough times to do so, looking after it is essential to secure that it remains as brand new irrelevant of resale (if ever). Here are some top tips for looking after your Jewellery.
Storage
It is important to store jewellery properly, whether it is expensive or not, so that it does not get damaged.
Keep chains flat, either lie them down or hang them up. Always leave them done up. This should prevent tangling and scratching.
Keep all jewellery in a dry room, neither excessively hot or cold, to avoid moisture, rust, warping and discolouration.
Keep jewellery out of direct sunlight. Especially opals, pearls and coloured stones, as they may discolour or even crack in extreme temperatures.
Keep jewellery separated. If it is mixed up together it is likely to become damaged. Diamond is an exceptionally hard material and could easily scratch or chip anything else you have in your jewellery box.

Store in either soft cloth pouches, acid free tissue paper or untreated cotton or silk. The jewellery boxes that you purchased the items in are ideal but can be bulky en masse. Get creative! For example get a ribbon to hang somewhere that you can put earrings through, displaying and protecting them at the same time.
Care
Different kinds of jewellery needs different types of care.
Jewellery should be the last thing that you put on, the the first thing you take off to avoid contact with harsh surfaces.
Check your jewellery regularly. Check that the clasps are strong, that links are not worn and that jump rings are not pulled open. If you feel that a piece of jewellery is becoming worn it is advisable to take it to a jeweller to be given professional advice, especially if you wear it frequently.
As jewellery is easily scratched, it is inadvisable to wear it whilst at the gym, playing sport or doing housework. Opals can crack if put into water.
Put on all cosmetics, including perfume and hairspray before you put your jewellery on. Cosmetics can damage stones and cause discolouration.
Wear your jewellery regularly. The continual movement against your body should help to rub off tarnishing.

Cleaning
Clean with mild soap like washing up liquid and warm water. If a piece is particularly tarnished it may help to soak it for a while first. A soft toothbrush or make-up brush is ideal for cleaning. Be aware, particularly with older pieces and ones with delicate settings (like a four claw setting for example) that the dirt may be helping to hold stones in place, so consult a jeweller if you are in any doubt at all.
Threaded jewellery should not be put into water, if it needs cleaning use a slightly moist cloth and make sure that it lies flat and straight to dry as the thread may stretch.
Silver jewellery cloths are great for cleaning most jewellery and are easily available. They will remove tarnishing and return the jewellery to its original lustre.
Tarnishing is caused by humidity, chemicals, oils and oxygen. Sterling silver is alloyed with copper in order to make it stronger; copper tarnishes very easily so it is likely to need regular cleaning.

If something is exceptionally tarnished it may need to go into silver dip. Be warned that this removes a layer of metal from the item, so it is best to do this as few times as possible. After dipping it make sure that all of the dip is washed off, dry it and then rub it with a soft cloth to bring back its shine.
You cannot put all stones into silver dip; the ones to avoid are opals, pearls, amber.
Surprisingly, a lot of people do not know these basic tips, even in a time when a quick web search can bring up the best method to clean any type of metal or stone jewellery.
And finally, handle it with care. It’s expensive and in some cases sentimental!
Author Profile: April May is a buyer of vintage jewellery for Find Jewellery. She spends a lot of time valuing items for resale and knows how to avoid devaluing them.

Do You Enjoy The Game Of Bingo? Some Celebrities Do!
By Guest Post
I am not a gambling kind of person, I don’t believe in playing games to win money, mainly because I hate to lose! I just play for fun and socializing. And the game of bingo is one of my favorite games, which I enjoy playing since I was a little girl. I think my grandmother taught me to play this game, so that I learn how to recognize different numbers fast
Anyhow, since then I hosted a couple of bingo games at my house during cold long winter nights in Latvia, when there is nothing else fun to do. I never played bingo online or went to a special establishment, where they host bingo events and where you actually can win or lose money. So, it was interesting to find out that some celebrities also enjoy playing bingo at home, online or at different clubs. Here is a guest post by Craig about some celebrities, that love playing bingo from time to time. Enjoy! Yours, Rich Girl.
How Does the Game go Again?
For the people who are unsure what bingo is, then, seriously where have you been? No, we are only messing. Bingo is a number game that is based mainly on chance. It began in Italy in the 1500s and gradually spread around Europe. The main idea of the bingo game is that every person in the game has tickets with random numbers on them, a person then uses a bingo machines to pick random numbers which they then call out, you then mark the numbers if you have them and the first person to successfully cover their card with the called numbers yells “BINGO” and he/she wins. You can play this game at home with your friends and family, you can go to a special hall or establishment that runs games of bingo or you can play it online. In any case it is a fun and exciting gambling game.
It is not stereotypical to say that the vast population of bingo players are women, because it is a fact. Men love to play poker, women love to play bingo. Simple as that! With the game of bingo being based mostly on socializing rather than the actually game it can be understood that a regular bingo night at home can go on quite some time, way longer than it would take if no talking was allowed. Sharing a few laughs and some drinks is part of the fun when hosting a game of bingo at home.
Celebrities are just the same as some regular Joes at heart, so why would they wouldn’t do “regular things” just like ourselves? Bingo being one of them. You may be surprised to see your favorite female actresses and celebrity judges enjoying a game of bingo, below are a few guilty celebrities who dabble in the game. I wonder how much their initial ticket prices are when hosting a bingo night?
Catherine Zeta-Jones
Catherine Zeta-Jones hosts regular bingo parties at her home. Catherine’s father won £100,000 at bingo when she was just in her early teens; it looks like the excitement of the game passed from father to daughter. It is said that Catherine loves to host a bingo party at Christmas for her close friends and family. I wonder who she invites? She has also appeared as a guest bingo caller at charity bingo to raise money.

Paris Hilton
It is not just Catherine Zeta-Jones who has appeared at charity bingo events, but also Courtney Cox, Daryl Hannah and Paris Hilton.

Denise Van Outen
Denise Van Outen is so into bingo that she once tried to get a few of her radio co-stars to go to her local bingo club to have a few games with her. Imagine if you saw her at your local bingo club, I bet you would be so star struck that you would miss the called numbers. The famous television presenter has been spotted on a few occasions at her local Essex Bingo club.

Gary Barlow
The X Factor Judge, Gary Barlow and his wife, Dawn decided to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary at London’s Mandarin Oriental hotel with a bingo night back in January 2010. Some females who made the bingo bash were: Kimberley Walsh, Cheryl Cole, Fearne Cotton, Denise Van Outon, Alesha Dixon and Lulu.
Katie Price
As you will beware, there are literally 100s of online bingo sites on the web and it is extremely hard to choose one, if you gonna decide to play this game online. Here is a fun fact not many people know: Katie Price used to be the celebrity face of the online bingo site, called Foxy Bingo. Katie once said that she loves to play online bingo.
So who knows, maybe next time when you will be playing bingo game online, there will be some kind of celebrity playing in the same bingo room as yourself. “Katie Price has just won £25.50” may one day pop-up on your screen, but we highly doubt that Katie’s bingo alias is her real name. Maybe Jordon224, perhaps?

Author’s Bio: The following article was a guest post by Craig Crossland who is the owner of the Love to Play Bingo, a bingo comparison site that does not just compare bingo sites but is the informational portal for confused bingo players.

Occasions for Wearing Pearl Jewellery
By Guest Post
Prior to the most romantic holiday of all times – the Valentine’s day, we continue featuring jewelry related articles. Here is a guest post about the several occasions when wearing pearls would be the best choice. Enjoy! ~ Rich Girl
It is fair to say that pearls are one of the most luxurious and sought after forms of jewellery but they are not suitable for every occasion. There are certain social situations, however, that are tailored made for pearl necklaces or earrings and if you’re looking to add a touch of luxury to an outfit, pearl jewellery is the best way of achieving it.
Below are some of the main scenarios where pearl jewellery is likely to be the perfect accessory for your outfit:
Weddings – There is no occasion where pearl jewellery is more fitting than that of a wedding, particularly a winter wedding. Pearl earrings or a striking necklace are the perfect accompaniment to any wedding dress and will elevate your wedding outfit to a whole new level. There are many different types of pearls available, of course, but when it comes to complimenting a wedding dress, styles such as Akoya and Tahitian pearls are one of the best choices. Take a look at a stunning Tahitian pearl necklace below:

Cocktail Parties – There are invariably occasions where you want to make your mark and look a million dollars and pearl jewellery is the perfect way of doing this. When attending an upscale cocktail party, you will need to match your choice of jewellery with your outfit and this is why pearls are such an ideal solution as pearl earrings and necklaces can be used to compliment almost any elegant outfit. Once you’ve found a cocktail dress that is to your liking, your attention must turn to the jewellery that you are going to wear to accompany it – how about some of the examples below, which include one of the most stunning pearl necklace:

Job Interview – Needless to say, you need to make a positive first impression when attending a job interview and nothing exudes more elegance and sophistication than the pearl jewellery and, for this reason, it is the perfect accessory to wear to that important job interview. As the old saying goes, “you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression” and you won’t need any second chances if you turn up to your interview wearing a stylish pearl bracelet or an understated and sophisticated pearl necklace. The pearls below are ideal for attending a job interview:

If you have occasion coming up where you truly want to stand out from the crowd for your grace and sophistication, you are certainly unlikely to go too far wrong by choosing pearl necklaces, earrings or bracelets to accessorize your chosen outfit. Whether you opt for South Sea pearls, Tahitian, Akoya or Freshwater pearls, you know that you are wearing a piece of jewelry that is timeless as it is elegant and which is perfect for all upmarket occasions in your life.
Matching your Pearl Jewelry
It goes without saying that most women will want to wear a number of different types of jewellery with their outfit and when it comes to pearls, there is jewelry that doesn’t compliment pearls. For example, if you wear pearl necklace, you may wish to accessorize it with a pair of diamond earrings and this is a look which will add significant level of sophistication to your outfit, but avoid mixing it with cheap plastic accessories. Providing that the jewellery that you’re wearing (whether it be pearls, gold, silver or diamonds) are all of a similar quality and style, there is no reason that different jewels can’t be worn together successfully. But make sure you don’t over do it. If in doubt, only wear one piece of jewelry at any one time. Keep it simple, and follow the rule of elegance – less is more.
If you’re thinking that you really want to stand out from the crowd with your choice of pearl jewelry, it may be worth thinking about pink, gold or even black pearls – these unusual and unique forms of jewellery are the perfect choice for any occasion and will bring your outfit to life with their elegant shimmer and understated grace. Take a look at a breathtaking black pearl necklace below:

Author’s Bio: James is a luxury jewellery and fashion blogger who has a particular interest in pearl jewellery and the types of situations in which breath taking accessories such as pearl earrings and necklaces can be worn.

7 Most Expensive Diamonds in the World
By Guest Post
Valentine’s day is fast approaching and what a girl wants to receive as a present on this special day?! Of course fancy jewelry! And since diamonds are girls best friends, here is a guest post about some of the most expensive diamonds in the world. Enjoy! ~ Rich Girl
We know that some of you probably can’t afford even a fraction of the diamonds we’re going to show you today, even on a diamond ring. But those diamonds are so large, so beautiful and so expensive that they have inflamed the imagination of even the richest and most powerful people on this planet (living AND dead). Curious to see some of the most expensive precious stones in the world? Read on!
1 – The Moussaieff Red Diamond
This diamond, albeit rather small (5.11 carats) is estimated at 7 million dollars (not that much, you’ll see!), because of its unique color (Fancy Red) and intricate cut (trilliant cut). The Moussaieff is the largest Fancy Red diamond in the world and is owned by Moussaieff Jewellers Ltd., which is renowned for multi-million dollar pieces of jewelry.

2 – The Hope Diamond
The Hope Diamond, worth 350 million dollars and weighing 45.52 carats, is the inspiration behind the “Heart of the Ocean” diamond in the blockbuster movie “Titanic”. Some people believe it’s cursed; some old rumors (actually spread in the early 20th century) have the diamond stolen from a Sita statue in India, making the owner cursed. Kings of France and England as well as sultans have owned the diamond. And now the “most famous diamond in the world” is in display at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC. It is definitely must-see item in this museum.

3 – The Steinmetz Pink Diamond
This beautiful pink 59.60-carat diamond is the only diamond ever to be classified as “Fancy Vivid Pink” in color. It is currently worth around 25 million dollars and is the largest known pink diamond in the world. Pink diamonds are extremely rare and usually found in much smaller sizes. It took the Steinmetz Group 20 months to cautiously cut it, because it is so extraordinary, one wrong move and the priceless diamond would have shattered.

4 – The Cullinan Diamond
Worth 400 million dollars, the Cullinan diamond or “The Star of Africa” is the biggest gem-quality diamond ever found and the 2nd largest cut diamond in the world. At 3,106.75 carats (or 621.35 grams, almost a kilogram!) in the rough, the diamond was perfect to cut and polish into an impressive 530.2-carat tear-shaped diamond. The gem is on display of Crown Jewels in the Tower of London, United Kingdom.

5 – The Heart of Eternity Diamond
The story of the Hope Diamond might have inspired the story of Titanic, but its shape is based on the Heart of Eternity diamond, valued at 16 million dollars and weighing 27.64 carats. What makes it so unique is its deep, vivid blue color, unmatched by any other major blue diamonds. The Steinmetz group cut it into a heart shape before selling it to the De Beers group.

6 – The Sancy Diamond
The Sancy diamond, still inestimable (and therefore priceless) is part of the French Crown Jewel collection hosted at the Louvre museum. The cut of this diamond is unique: it is made of a pair of crowns and has no pavilion. The pale yellow color might be considered an imperfection, but its symmetrical cut is quite intriguing.
7 – The Koh-i-Noor
We couldn’t discuss famous expensive diamonds without mentioning the Koh-i-Noor. This diamond also remains inestimable; it is still part of the British Crown Jewels (actually set in the crown of the Queen Mother Elizabeth). It used to be the biggest known diamond in the world, but several cuts and re-cuts have made it smaller – 105 carats.
Imagine receiving one of these diamonds along with your Valentine’s Day flowers! Wouldn’t that be amazing? Oh, you’d also need a really strong vault to keep it protected from the thieves.
