The last couple of days I am in “get ready for Halloween party” mode. Just yesterday I was browsing through Youtube Halloween makeup tutorials and found some interesting stuff there. I don’t know how serious you are about Halloween, but in case you are serious, you should know that party makeup is as important as your Halloween costume! And makeup is also the most exciting part of the Halloween, because you can go absolutely crazy with it! You can transform yourself completely with the help of makeup and even your parents will have troubles recognizing you. Just for one night you can be anyone you want.
Well, excited as I am about total transformation, I am still not sure about wounds and blood on my face as well as zombi makeup. Least of all I want to scare people to death with my appearance. Let’s leave it to guys 
So, I have collected and I want to share with you 7 Halloween makeup video tutorials, to inspire you to try something different, ignite your imagination and do something crazy! Also, I don’t know about you, rich girls, but I am terrible with makeup, I can’t even draw a straight black line on my eye! So, I am not even dreaming of doing something so creative and professionally looking myself. If you are a “dummy” like me, one of the options is to hire a professional makeup artist or to ask your more advanced friends or even your mother to help you out.

The reason I liked this look is because it is very feminine with huge fake eyelashes and lots of sparkle. Maybe it is not too much of a Halloween-ish look, but it will definitely look great to portrait some kind of fairytale character. Here is the makeup tutorial for this look:

This Jessica Rabbit makeup is the easiest one of all, I feel like even I can do this myself All I need to pull this look off is to find a red wig. Very sexy look!

I have found a lot of makeup tutorials of Black Swan look, but I liked this one the most. Love the eyes!

And finally the most dramatic, but very exciting look. If you can actually appear at a party as Mystique, people will definitely remember you, if they will recognize you.

Awesome Pumpkin Carving Ideas

Halloween is only one week away and I hope you have your Halloween costumes ready and your pumpkins carved. I have never ever carved a pumpkin in my life before, so maybe I should give it a shot this year. As always I was surfing the net for some inspirational pumpkin carving patterns and ideas and have found some really awesome ones, which I want to share with you, rich girls.
Well, I am not sure if anyone of you can actually carve something like this, I definitely can’t. But just looking at these pictures makes me unleash my creative spirit (not sure if I have one in the first place ) and start carving something right now. So, anyway, here are the most incredible (in my opinion) carved pumpkins. Please do let me know which one of those is your favorite.
So, above are images of amazing pumpkin carving patterns, but have a look what else have I found! The guy who carves pumpkins for a living – The Pumpkin Geek. His carvings of different celebrities and movie characters just leave me speechless. This pumpkin geek guy has a magnificent talent! I’ve added just a couple of his pumpkins, but you should definitely check out other designs on his website.

Magical Portimao Beach in Portugal

In the beginning of October I was lucky enough to spend a few days in the south of Portugal. I was not planning to go there, but since it is only a 4 hour drive from Marbella and there was a place for me in the car, I went along.
I was in this part of Portugal briefly last year, but it was November and the weather was not very good to enjoy the beach at that time, so I didn’t even know what the beaches are like in Algarve region.
We stayed at the Tivoli Marina Portimão resort, which had enormous rooms, amazing breakfast, great location and wonderful view to the Marina of Portimão from every single room. The hotel was very good and I would recommend it, if you decide to go and stay in Portimão.

This is a magnificent view from our room.
Yeah, and here is the gym with amazing view, which no one actually used. At least I haven’t seen a single person who would be using the equipment during my 3-day stay in the hotel. Which is a shame, right?
So, after having a breakfast I decided to go for a walk and check out the beach. I didn’t even had my bikini with me, because all I wanted to do was to see what the beach is like, then go to my room to work a little and only after that and if the water was warm enough I thought I would go for a swim. At least this was my initial plan.
I was glad to find out that the sand on the beach was very fine and white, the water was warm and crystal clear and the beach itself was very wide. So, I decided to go towards the huge rock or cliff which was far ahead, check it out and then go back to the hotel.
When I came closer to the cliff I thought that this was the end of the beach. I was enjoying the enormity of rocks in the water and then I noticed that there is a small hole in this cliff through which you can go to the other side. Of course I was curious enough to check what was beyond this point.
And then I came through the wall to the other side I was gobsmacked by almost surreal beauty. I couldn’t believe my eyes! I was definitely not expecting to see something so extraordinary in Europe. I thought that you need to go to Hawaii or Maldives or other exotic place to experience such magnificent nature. But yet it was here in Portugal just in front of my eyes. The rocks surrounding me were so enormous, that I felt like on a different planet, like Alice in Wonderland even. I still can’t find proper words to explain what I felt and experienced, just have a look for yourself and decide if this place is special or not.
For me it definitely felt special and I don’t need to tell you that I was walking back and forwards all day long and the next morning I came down there straight after breakfast and stayed till sunset. I felt very happy there and will be definitely coming back!

Rich Girl Visits Wonderful Portimao Beach in Portugal

Explore Lace as a Quirky Cocktail Dress Option

My current fashion obsession is lace. I can’t get enough, and luckily for me, it’s everywhere right now, and like a greedy little chubby kid in a candy store I’m lapping up as much as I can, but have yet to go for full, lace cocktail dresses, worrying that fancy lace meant fancy price tags. I was recently invited to a fun charity ball and wanted something that wouldn’t look out of place at a Bruce Wayne party, so naturally I went online to find one of the more unusual cocktail dresses to make a splash at the event!
Naturally, the first batch of lacy cocktail dresses to greet me were vintage. Lace was predominant in the dresses of the early 16th century onwards, so there are thousands of divine vintage lace pieces on the net. I adore vintage, and fell in love with the first one I clapped eyes on, but unfortunately this was very vintage, very coveted and therefore very out of my price range! But don’t worry – vintage doesn’t have to mean expensive – I stumbled across many a website offering gorgeous dresses for cut-prices, and managed to bag one for just $15! I steered clear of white or ivory purely because A. I didn’t want to look like a little lost bride and B. My penchant for red wine plus my clumsiness equals fiasco!
Whenever you need to look for a fancy little cocktail number, take my advice: Cocktail dresses don’t need to come in the form of the LBD, go for a bit of a risk like lace and you’ll definitely thank me for it!

Black Wedding Dresses By Vera Wang

I was browsing through new posts on Fashionista.com and stumbled upon a very interesting article about Vera Wang’s latest show.
Recently my favorite bridal designer Vera Wang showed her Fall 2012 bridal collection in New York. The theme for the show was very Halloween-ish called – “Witchcraft”. The dresses were gorgeous as usual, but included seven black gowns! Can you imagine black dress on your wedding day? How brave is that?
Although the dresses are breathtaking and models look kind of mysterious and bitchy “witchy” – my absolute favorite combination, I still think it would be a little bit over the top to wear something like that on an actual wedding day. I can even hear a deep sigh of the crowd in the church when people see the bride in a black dress walking down the isle. And if you don’t really care what the crowd is thinking about you, can you imagine what your future husband might be thinking? He is expecting a white beautiful happy cloud, but instead there is a black moody witch. And if he is not scared enough already with this marriage and commitment thing, seeing you in black could trigger a big fat coward inside of him and you have a chance to end up with a runaway groom
That said, I would still consider this brave step and show them all just how unique I am. Or maybe still not. Anyway, I love Vera Wang and I hope she knows what she is doing

The Best Gifts to Give a Busy Woman

Most women today run busy lives, trying to balance work, a family and some sort of social life. If they are lucky they may even get some time to themselves. When it comes to buying a gift for such a woman often the best thing you can give them is something to help make their life easier, like paying a cleaner to come in every fortnight and do the housework, or even just have the carpet cleaning done. Often the busy woman runs out of time to go shopping, even for essentials, so you might want to give her a gift basket filled with all her usual skincare and bath products.
Gift Basket
If she doesn’t have much time to get to the shops or she needs a gentle hint that she needs to slow down and spend some time on herself, then a gift basket can be a great idea for a gift. A gift basket can contain whatever you want it to and you can buy them already made up, so you can choose one to suit your budget and it will get delivered directly to her. Choose a basket with filled with things to encourage her to pamper herself, like skincare products, candles, massage oil, a relaxing CD and bath products.

Perhaps she doesn’t get much time to spend in the supermarket, other than just to whiz in and buy the essentials. It is also highly unlikely that she can take the time to browse in delicatessens or food specialty stores. Hiring a babysitter is a great gift idea for the busy woman, particularly if she has very young children who can be demanding on your time. Give her the day off to do as she pleases without having to drag the kids around. She can spend the day shopping for clothes, getting a hair cut or a facial, going to visit friends or going out to lunch.
Day Spa
To help her slow down, spend time on herself and just relax give her a voucher for treatments at a day spa. Either spend her for a full day of pampering or let her choose from things like a massage, a facial, a manicure or pedicure or other beauty treatment.
Gift Voucher to Shop Online
There are many great online stores that sell all sorts of things like clothes, jewellery, accessories and gift ware. Buy her voucher so that she can shop online, something that is great for the busy woman.

Halloween Costume Ideas

I am almost always late with Halloween costumes, well, not just Halloween any costumes. Usually I am the one who runs around the shops like crazy in search for any costume a few hours before the event. Which is totally wrong, because: A – there are just no good costumes left; and B – this last minute search ruins the whole point of the event, instead of getting ready and be in a good mood, I am frustrated.
So, this year I decided to shop for the best 2011 Halloween costume in advance (I bet some of you already have a costume prepared, good girls!). Last year when I was searching for a website with a grand selection of different kind of Halloween costumes, I found this amazing site called SpiritHalloween.com. This site has a wide range of high quality Halloween costumes as well as decorations.
I still haven’t decided on a costume I am going to wear this Halloween, here is just a few costumes that I like. Although it is really hard to pick just one costume out of numerous different options on SpiritHalloween.com
1 – Sucker Punch Girl
My first idea of a Halloween look is Sucker Punch Girl. To be honest I didn’t quite like the movie itself, the girls were super sexy there. So, maybe it is a good idea to wear something similar.

The other idea of the look is to dress like Katy Perry in her video for “California Girls” song. I think this costume is really cool and colorful plus I love the wig.
