There’s no denying that we live in a culture that prizes youth. Magazines and billboards are plastered with dewy, fresh-faced models (some of them barely into their teens) and despite the fact that women are urged to “age gracefully”, celebrities and other public figures rarely look anywhere close to their actual age. Demi Moore, Iman, Elle Macpherson, Nicole Kidman, and many more look 10 to 20 years younger than they are. Whoever said 50 is the new 30 wasn’t kidding! Unfortunately, not all of us rich girls have a team of beauty experts on call to keep us looking like we’re still in our teens. But there are a lot of treatments that will help you stave off the ravaging effects of time (spotting, sagging, wrinkles, and so on). Here are just a few of the hottest treatments to try.

1. Facials. An oldie but a goodie; everyone can utilize this non-invasive procedure to perk up dull skin. If you can afford a facial every few weeks, you should definitely make it part of your regular routine. If you just don’t have the dough, you can do your own at home. Heat water in a pan, then hold your face close to capture the steam, with a towel over your head (take the pan off the stove first!). Once your pores are open, do extractions with Q-tips (not your fingers or a tool, which can lead to infections and scarring). Then do a scrub, a mud mask, and finally, finish off with a cooling gel and a light moisturizer. Voila! Perfect skin for less!

2. Peels. Chemical peels can be scary (yes, they burn off the top layer of skin – all the dead stuff), but they’re a great way to combat acne, decrease spotting and scarring, minimize fine lines, and leave your skin looking as soft as a baby’s butt. There are several types of chemicals that can be used (alpha hydroxy, beta hydroxy, retinoic, trichloroacetic, phenol, etc.) with varying degrees of strength, so you’ll need to talk to your dermatologist to choose the one that’s right for you. You’ll receive anesthesia and pain killers, but plan for some pain and potential complications (mainly from possible infection). You’ll need 1-2 weeks to recover, and some people get treatments 1-2 times a year. But the results could potentially last up to twenty years.

3. Lasers. This treatment is generally used to combat wrinkles and scarring (from acne) and it involves the use of pulsating laser light to systematically remove the upper layers of skin. After-care is similar to a chemical peel, as are results, but these treatments tend to penetrate deeper for better results. Puffiness and peeling can last for a couple of weeks, but afterwards your skin should have a younger, firmer appearance.

4. Botox. There is really no better way to get rid of severe wrinkles caused by strong facial muscles (frown lines, for example) than to opt for botox. Botulinum toxin (Botox) is actually the most powerful neurotoxin known to man, which means large doses can cause serious side effects. But in small, targeted applications (such as to your face), it is relatively safe and it has the ability to reduce lines, smooth facial muscles (by temporarily and/or partially paralyzing them), and it lasts up to 8 months. The best part is, you can enjoy surgical results without going under the knife.

5. Fillers. Dermal fillers are a minimally invasive way to plump skin (in particular, deep lines around the mouth, recessed scars, or sunken cheeks). Juvederm and Restylane are two of the most popular, but there are many options on the market that you can discuss with your dermatologist. Effects can last up to several months.

Heads Up, Rich Girls! Prepping for a Big Event

When it comes time to get ready for a night on the town with that special guy (dinner, dancing – you know the drill), a gala event of the black-tie variety, or a trip down the red carpet, you need to make sure that you’re looking your best, dressed to impress, and done up like the doll you are. But while the right shoes, dress, and undergarments (hello, Spanx!) can go a long way towards helping you look the part, even the most flattering ensemble can fall flat if you flub the view above the shoulders. In order for rich girls to turn some heads you’re going to need the perfect hair, makeup, and smile to dazzle any would-be suitors (or paparazzi). Here are just a few tips to get you on track for a killer appearance.

1. Super smile. Ladies, this is where the magic starts. Nobody will take a second look when you’ve got a snaggle-tooth, fuzzy gums, and coffee stains galore. You need a gorgeous smile if you’re going to entice Mr. Right onto the dance-floor or glam up the society page. Probably your teeth aren’t as bad as all that, but every six months or so you’re going to need a little touch up. So get yourself some whitening strips or head to the dentist for laser whitening a few days before the big event. Then charm the pants off anyone close enough to check your chiclets!

2. Prepping your skin. If you’ve got some acne issues (as many of us do), see your dermatologist for a daily regimen and hit up the spa for a facial a few days out. Facials can leave you red and splotchy for a couple days, so you’ve got to plan this carefully, but by day five you should have a smooth, glowing surface on which to apply your makeup. Start with a wash, a scrub, and a mud mask on the day of the event to slough off dead skin and tighten pores. Then apply a light, non-greasy moisturizer to get your skin dewy and ready to receive makeup.

3. Rack focus. No, this does not mean people should be focusing on your fabulous rack! Eyes up! It simply indicates that you need to make a decision when you begin applying makeup; do you want the focus on your eyes or your lips? These two prominent and alluring features need not be at war as long as you pick one or the other for maximum seductive power. If you have full, plump lips, you may be tempted to play up your pout with a hot shade of lipstick. But take a page from Angelina Jolie and tone it down with the liner. You don’t want to look freakish, so keep the lips nude with a slick of gloss and opt instead for a sexy, smoky eye. Have some fun with a night look by using opposite colors to make those flashing orbs pop (purples for brown-eyed girls, earthy browns for blue eyes, and pink or maroon for the girls with green eyes).

4. Cut, color, coiffure. To up-do or not is a big decision, so try to choose by event. Going to a gala? Go for the sophisticated up-do. For a night at the club, keep your locks loose and flowing. If you want to look your best, go for a trim and touch up those roots at least a week beforehand (maybe even two) so that your hair will look natural, not treated, the night you go out.

5. Finishing touches. You already look amazing, but you can still add a bit of bling to finish off your look. Diamond studs are always a nice touch (and great for the club since they won’t be hitting you in the face like those giant hoops you wore last time), while some glitzy drops add class to strapless evening gown (leave the neckline spare and bare). Skip the hair jewelry, which will only make you look like you’re attending a prom and opt for a shine spray instead to leave your tresses tantalizingly sleek.

Victoria Beckham – Fashion Passion And Family

Hurray, Victoria Beckham just welcomed a long awaited baby girl, Harper Seven Beckham, this Sunday. It seems like everyone was waiting to see a new little fashion icon and rich girl. Well, I am definitely waiting to see what kind of cute tiny outfits little Beckham princess will be wearing. There was a rumor that Victoria already ordered little custom-made baby shoes with trademark red soles from Christian Louboutin. How cool is that?!

So, before all attention will go towards a little princess, I would like to take a moment and to talk about the proud mother – Victoria Beckham.

It was hard for me to decide in which category to put a post about Victoria, because her life is a true Success Story and she also have built a strong Fashion Brand. As everything in our girls life always goes down to clothes, I decided to emphasize the fashion part, but also not forgetting to talk a little about Victoria’s success in other parts of her life.

I personally really like Victoria Beckham and think that she is a fascinating woman and rich girl. She is showing us that a girl can really have it all: loving husband, amazing family, successful career, fame, recognition and lots of money. So, what do we really know about Victoria Beckham and what can we learn from her example? Let’s follow Victoria through her life’s journey with the help of Wikipedia and Victoria’s website.

- Music Career - Victoria’s rise to fame started when she joined “Spice Girls” in 1994 when she was 20 years old. After the group released their single called “Wannabe” in 1996, there was no doubt that the new pop ladies are going to take over the world, “Spice Girls” was a very popular group in the ’90′s. Victoria definitely stood out from the rest of the four girls with her feminine look and high heels, because of her sophisticated style she was nicknames “Posh Spice”.

After “Spice Girls” band stopped recording, Victoria tried to build her solo career, but it was not that successful. Although all of her released singles reached top 10 in UK neither of them reached number 1.

Victoria Beckham’s second book, That Extra Half an Inch: Hair, Heels and Everything In Between”, was published on 27 October 2006. a fashion advice guide, entitled “[46] The book includes tips from Beckham on fashion, style and beauty. According to Wikipedia, the book became another bestseller, and has sold 400,000 copies in Britain alone since it was published in hardcover.

- Fashion - I am not gonna go into details about what Victoria Beckham designed over the years, on which magazine covers and fashion shows she appeared, if you are interested in such kind of details you can always find them online. What I am more interested in is her fashion label, which became very popular with Hollywood celebrities.

During New York Fashion Week Victoria Beckham presented the 100th dress she has designed. - Family - I believe that whatever success and huge amounts of money you have, this doesn’t matter a lot if you don’t have a person to share it with. Some girls choose to not have a family and concentrate mainly on their career, and it is their choice and right to do. I personally think that there should always be a balance in your life and if you can manage to have a successful career and have adorable kids and husband, then you have really earned a “Super Woman” title. But again, no one says that if you don’t have any of this you are not amazing girl! It is just very rare when someone has it all, maybe just because not everyone wants it in the first place.

Victoria Beckham has 4 kids and world-famous handsome footballer David Beckham as a husband, successful fashion label, great looks and world fame. I just wonder what else she might need and want at this point? What do you think, girls?

I don’t know about you, but I am really inspired by Victoria Beckham. Her life just proves that you should never stop to strive for more in your life, try different things, but also keep the balance between your career and personal life, a heavy, but manageable task.

Charlene Wittstock’s or Kate Middleton’s Wedding Dress?

This year is rich for Royal weddings, first, Kate Middleton now Duchess of Cambridge kept us waiting in anticipation to see her special wedding dress by Sarah Burton, and just a couple of days ago Charlene Wittstock now Princess Charlene of Monaco sparkled the whole principality in Giorgio Armani Prive white wedding dress.

Royal weddings remind us of fairy tales we all used to love when we were kids and these two weddings especially have something in common with “Cinderella”, both brides were not from Royal families. They also give us yet another proof that everything is possible, even to marry a real prince. Ahh, fairy tales

So, if you were dreaming to marry a prince one day, what kind of wedding dress you imagined to wear? And what do you think about the wedding dress choices the two brides have made?

To tell you the truth, when I first saw Kate Middleton’s wedding dress I was disappointed. Maybe because there were such a huge fuss in the press about the dress, everyone was so eager to see it. All this buzz raised my expectations really high and when I saw it on TV, I was disappointed. I thought that the dress was too simple to wear on a Royal wedding, I expected it to be over the top, something that you won’t see on a friend’s wedding.

But now, when I look at the dress, after all these wedding speculations are over, I actually think it was nice, the lace top was exquisite and the gown definitely suited the Duchess of Cambridge perfectly.

After being mildly disappointment with Kate Middleton’s wedding dress, I was not expecting anything from Charlene Wittstock’s wedding gown. And maybe that’s why I loved it so much! The dress was exactly like I pictured Royal wedding dress should be: adorned with 40,000 Swarovski crystals, gold and pearl hand embroidery on the front and a very long train. Luxurious and chic!

I have read some comments on other sites that the neckline is wrong for girls with broad shoulders, but I think it somehow worked for Princess Charlene of Monaco and looked great on her.

Top 10 Rich Celebrity Bikini 2011

Last year I made a list of top 10 most beautiful rich celebrity girls in their bikinis and this list was one of the most popular posts through out the year. So, I decided that it could be a very nice tradition here on Rich Girls Club and here we go, my new “Top 10 Celebrity Bikini 2011″.

Somehow last year there were a lot more interesting celebrity bikinis to choose from, than in 2011. This year it seems like rich celebrity girls decided to go for a simple and sometimes too boring looks. It was hard for me to collect 10 amazing bikinis, that’s why there are a lot of new faces in this list. Who knows, maybe I was a little bit picky this time. You always try to upstage your previous success and maybe sometimes you just try too hard. Anyway, here is Rich Girls Club now annual top 10 celebrity bikini list.

10 – Katie Price

To tell you the truth I am not a huge Katie Price fan, but I still entered her in Rich Girls Club top, for the following reasons. First, I like the bikini, second, she was in this bikini here in Marbella, partying in Ocean Club this year. So, I guess, she deserved a place.

5 – Fergie

Fergie appears again in our bikini top. Last year she was on the 8th place with her sexy knitted bikini, this year she goes up 3 places and now occupies the honorable 5th place in her amazing red and black bikini. I just wonder what the next year will bring. Go, Fergie!

Rich Sexy Celebrity Girls In White

It was really hard for me to decide who will take first and second places, that’s why I leave it up to you to choose which out of the rest three bikinis should be called the best bikini in our “Rich Top 10 Celebrity Bikini 2011″. And since, I somehow started to love white bikinis this summer, you need to choose from white bikinis.

I don’t know why before I thought that white bikinis are too boring. One look at Victoria Silvstedt in her sexy swimwear and you actually understand that on a tanned perfect body white bikini looks amazing.

The other goddess in white and Rich Girl’s Club favorite is Eva Longoria. She looks great with her boyfriend Eduardo on a yacht in Marbella. Yes, that’s right, Eva Longoria and Eduardo Cruz spent this weekend in Marbella, they even went out dining in Puerto Banus. Don’t know how I missed them

I will try harder and look for Eva Longoria in a month, when she will be coming back to Marbella in August to co-host with Antonio Banderas “Starlite Gala” charity event. Maybe she will bring another bikini next time

El Gran Gatsby Restaurant In Puerto Banus

A week ago I had a very special occasion and wanted to celebrate it in the unique and exquisite place. There are a lot of nice places around Marbella and Puerto Banus, but I needed not just a nice place, but something really special with spectacular views, romantic atmosphere and tasty food. So, I thought about El Gran Gatsby, recently opened restaurant in the exclusive place in Puerto Banus. I must say that I was taking a little bit of risk by going there, since this restaurant just opened and it was hard to find any reviews about this place. Anyway, I decided to trust my gut feeling and the fact that the owners of the place also own Magna Cafe, another famous and great restaurant.

I booked a table through the form on their site, after one hour a girl called me to confirm my booking and ask what time and where I preferred to be sited. Since I didn’t know the place I asked the girl to give us the best table they have. I really hoped she would place us at the best possible table, but I forced my expectations to stay low to avoid disappointment.

And so in the evening I put on my new dress, good mood and was ready to check out the new place and celebrate my special day.

When we arrived at El Gran Gatsby, we were pleasantly greeted and seated at the best table! I was so happy! The table was really the best I could think of with spectacular view of the port with amazing yachts on display. Also, because the restaurant is situated on the second floor, you can see the whole panorama of the port and my favorite La Concha mountain on the background. The interior also exceeded my expectations, it was cozy and at the same time very chic. At this point I could relax and start to enjoy my evening. It was time to order.

Although El Gran Gatsby has extended and exquisite choice of wine, we decided to go for my favorite Mumm Cordon Rouge champagne. They have more expensive champagne of course, but I somehow prefer Mumm and there is nothing you can do about it

As a starter we tried carpaccio of red prawns with spicy oil and ajo blanco sorbet. It was amazing! You can hardly understand that you are actually eating prawns, because they were cut so finely. I loved it.

As a second course my husband tried Asturian beef sirloin steak with virgin olive oil and allumette potatoes:

And I went for salt baked sea bass from the Veta de la Palma estate, served with potatoes and a spicy mojo sauce:

My Sea Bass was really good, and I haven’t even tried what my husband was eating, since I couldn’t even finish my dish. We both were very satisfied with the quality of food.

I also tried a desert, but it was just an ordinary chocolate fondant with chocolate ice-cream, nothing special.

I want also to mention exceptional service in El Gran Gatsby restaurant. During the evening at least 5 waiters were fussing around us, making our night so special. I want to thank everyone at the restaurant for such a wonderful and great job!

After we finished with the food, we walked around the restaurant to the open roof lounge area, where you can enjoy cocktails and food till the early morning. Maybe next time I should check it out as well.

I really enjoyed my time at El Gran Gatsby restaurant in Puerto Banus and would recommend this place for a quiet and romantic night or to take your business partners or guests to show one of the best restaurants in Puerto Banus. I am sure everyone will be satisfied.

How To Take Advantage Over Men at Gambling

More and more girls try their luck at the poker tables and even catch up with boys, but still somehow women are not taken seriously by men. Gambling is one of the biggest social ‘boys clubs’ around. It’s a world dominated by men, designed by men to entertain other men. If you think of the style of entertainment in Vegas you’ll probably realize that most of it isn’t exactly catered to women. Typically women are kept away from a lot of the big action, the competitive gambling and high stakes tables and are often sequestered to the slot machines, the dry hump of the casino world. Well, why not use that to your advantage? Stop sitting at your computer waiting to play free roulette and start being one of the rich girls by doing what every other gambler has to do: playing their advantage.

It’s true: men don’t take women seriously at the tables. While this might get your feminism drive geared up it’s important to member that this, if utilized properly, can be a gigantic advantage over the dismissive nature of male players. Chances are unless you’re Annie Duke most men aren’t going to perceive you as the threat you can be at the poker table. Knowing this is the case it can be startling advantageous to play up the appearance of naivety if you’re not playing in any serious capacity. Getting another player to drop their guard will usually have them make poor plays. When it comes to poker this usually means they will go in with weaker hands, and be less willing to bet heavily when they have stronger hands against you. They’ll also kick into something of a teaching mode, telegraphing their tells a lot more vividly, allowing you to make the proper calls seemingly by luck. It probably doesn’t hurt to giggle a little incredulously and seem surprised when you rake in your winning pot. ‘Are these cards any good? O, I won? I can’t believe it.’ Well, believe it, you’re now a card shark.

The truth is when you factor in online play that there are a lot more female gamblers than male gamblers. The sides have started to shift a little, but even still women are improving their game. Which, from an evolutionary standpoint means that men will adapt to the usual tricks and we’ll have to counter adapt to stay ahead of the curve. This is known as the Red Queen’s Hypothesis (which I find to be a particularly fitting image in this example), named after the line from Lewis Carroll’s Though the Looking-Glass in which the red queen states “It takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place.” The further women push in the further men will adapt, especially in a world where their bankrolls are dependent on their acuity. So, how do we stay ahead?

Well, you tried playing weak. It might have worked a few times, but other times people saw right through you. So, how about the other side of the coin? Playing strong. Coming off as aggressive and assertive, and playing in the manner of a gambler several times your actual skill level. What this comes down to is sheer confidence. If you exude the sense that you’re an experienced gambler than intimidation becomes a very easily reached goal. What is scarier than a woman kicking a man’s ass up and down the poker table? And if you can get a good strong start they’ll play scared for the rest of the game, meaning you can control the action and get deeper in their heads. This requires a lot more effort and you will have to know a little about the game you’re playing. But, as they always say “dress for the job you want, not the job you have.”
