I am in Monaco at the moment for the major event of the year in yachting industry – Monaco Yacht Show 2010. It seems that everyone is going to be here: to see the boats or to boast with one! This will be also a great opportunity to introduce brand new luxurious yachts and boats to the world!
The show is going to be from 22-25 of September and there going to be a lot of interesting events and of course upscale parties!! The weather is just perfect, rich girls and guys are all around me and I am so excited about the upcoming days of the show in the most luxurious place in the world!!
Anyway, I am going to be here, will take lots of pictures and report on everything I will come accross. My laptop broke just before the show, so my precious iPhone is saving the situation! I will not be able to upload pictures at the moment, so wait for them till I get back home and buy new laptop, damn!!

Martina Hingis in Marbella for Marbella Masters 2010

This year for the first time Puente Romano Tennis Club in Marbella is hosting Senior Tennis Tournament – The Puente Romano Marbella Masters 2010.
Marbella welcomes tennis stars such as the two times Roland Garros Champion and past “King of Clay” Sergi Brugera, Wimbledon Champions Pat Cash and Richard Krajicek and others. But the true star of this luxurious event is the 5-time Grand Slam Champion Martina Hingis!!
The event is taking place from 17th till 19th of September 2010 and I’ve already attended two days of the Matches. I must say that this is a spectacular event and all the rich and famous of Marbella circuits (as well as those who came here for holiday) can be spotted on the stands. I was pleased to spot a lot of rich girls with their Hermes bags and Omega watches, as well as guys with the attitude. I just love such posh events, when people dress casually, but smart and never forget about rich accessories. But again, I didn’t just come to see brands around me; I came to watch tennis, obviously
By the way, in case you didn’t know, tennis as well as golf is the most prestigious and favorite sports by the rich and famous. So, if you haven’t got the basics yet, I advice you to sign up for the course of training in your local golf and tennis centers. Maybe on the early stage you will need to choose what do you like the most golf or tennis and then focus your efforts on one of them. I personally chose tennis, because it is fun and it helps you keep in shape, also I was playing tennis since I was a kid (thank you Mum and Dad for your smart investment in my rich future!), so it is just logical I play it. But, since I moved to Costa del Sol, Costa del Golf with numerous amazing golf valleys around me, I will definitely take some lessons in golf soon.
Ok, I’ve got a little bit distracted; I wanted to talk about Marbella Masters 2010 and Martina Hingis. As I have already mentioned before there are a lot of guys with titles in the tournament, and I must say that Richard Krajicek is a real sweetheart – tall and handsome, but the real star of the event is Martina Hingis!! I guess she is the one who attracted the most of the spectators! Guys please don’t get offended!

Martina Hingis – Rich Girl and Tennis Success!

Martina Hingis is here in Marbella for Marbella Masters 2010 event and she is in a great shape! Check out my tiny review of the Marbella Masters 2010 event here! I never really hoped to see such a major tennis star so close, I even got an autograph from her! Not that I am really into collecting scribbled paper, I just wanted to get closer to the truly successful Rich Girl!!
Damn, I will have my business cards ready only on Monday, can’t believe that I actually missed the opportunity to invite Martina Hingis to be a part of our Rich Girl’s Club! Sorry, girls, my bad!!
Martina is all smiles, looks fabulous and is smashing her opponents with ease. Well, I knew Martina is a star and success, but anyway I conducted a little search on Google and found out so much more about her, like she have won $20,130,657 in career prize money! She is forth all-time money wise in women tennis (after Graf, Davenport and Navratilova, the only four at this point to pass $20 million) according to http://www.sonyericssonwtatour.com. How cool is that?! Also, I found out that Martina loves shopping and her favourite designers are Gucci, Dior and Roberto Cavalli.
Martina was named after famous tennis player Martina Navratilova and was destined to become tennis star herself! I guess she didn’t have any other option as her mother was coaching her throughout her career starting with the early age of 2!! Martina entered tournaments at 4! And they say that you need to sing up your kids in tennis club only when they are 6!! Obviously, it is never too early to start making your own destiny!
Martina was born in Kosice, Slovakia in September 1980 and moved to Switzerland when she was 8. She holds five Grand Slam singles titles (winning Australian Open, Wimbledon and US Open in 1997, then winning Australian Open again in 1998 and 1999); reached seven more finals (three at Australian Open, two at Roland Garros and two at US Open). She also holds nine Grand Slam titles in doubles and one in mixed. Martina held No.1 position in WTA rank for 209 non-consecutive weeks in singles (fifth all-time) and for 35 non-consecutive weeks in doubles; was first Swiss to hold either; held both simultaneously for 27 non-consecutive weeks, one of now-five players to achieve the feat. Martina Hingis is such a success that she is even immortalized in wax at famous Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum!
I must say that I am impressed by how one girl can achieve so much in her early age! Just think of it, Martina will only turn 30 this year and she already achieved so much in her life! Now, she is traveling around the world, playing tennis in the events similar to Marbella Masters 2010 and enjoys her life. She has so much more ahead of her and it makes me feel like I missed something in my own life, the part where I achieved something honorable in my early years which will never actually happen. But again, as I have already said, it is never too early nor too late to start making your life the way you want it to be! So, I do believe, that one day my star will shine as well as yours!
My, dear girls, don’t just spend your time – make this life memorable and full of achievements! Martina Hingis is a really great example!

Today is a special day, because I am gonna be lost for the world for the next couple of days! The reason is simple, I bought new Sophie Kinsella’s book – Mini Shopaholic!! The latest book from the series about Becky Bloomwood the Shopaholic. I am anxious to enter again the magic world of humor and brands. No one writes as good as Sophie Kinsella, I adore her sense of humor, and if I were a writer I would want to have the same writing style as hers. Rich Girl’s Summer was great!

It makes me sad to realize that the summer is coming to it’s end. Here in Spain we still can enjoy the beach till October, but anyway subconsciously you know that the happy season is over.
I really enjoyed this summer!! It was different from all the previous summers, because I spent it in Spain and I was not working at all, just enjoying myself!
I traveled a lot, visited my friends in Latvia, had marvelous time on my friends’ wedding there, some friends came to visit me here in Marbella. I saw the amazing capital of Spain – Madrid, had fun during Sex and the City 2 premiere with my friend in Barcelona, got sun burnt in Alicante, saw a lot of Apes in Gibraltar, was driving in cable car over Benelmadena (this was scary, but the view from the top of the hill was worth it!), saw amazing shoes which I am now dying to buy in Malaga, loved the beach in San Pedro, watched a lot of cool movies in Fuengirola, tried white Sangria in Marbella’s old town (it was delicious, with strawberries and bananas, mmm…), ate tapas with friends in Tarifa, tried to visit Alhambra in Granada twice still didn’t make it to the palace, saw breathtaking bridge in Ronda, huge port in Algeciras and glamorous marina in Puerto Banus. And yes, Spain winning the World Cup (the celebration was unforgettable experience)!!
These were my highlights of the summer 2010. I hope that Autumn will be as much fun! I have lot’s of plans for Rich Girl’s Club and since I will have a lot of free time it will be something special! So, stay tuned! You will love what I have prepared for you!

Fall/Winter 2010 / 2011 shoes picked by Rich Girl

The summer is coming to it’s end, although I still go to the beach and enjoy the sun, I know that it is time to think about the shoes to wear during cold Autumn and Winter days. I have checked what kind of shoes and boots top fashion designers prepared for us for the Fall/Winter 2010 / 2011 season and picked some of my favorite designs. Now I just need to decide which ones to buy and I will be all set for the cold season.
Of course, I am starting my Rich Girl’s favorite list with Christian Louboutin. He is the Master of shoes and this season is not the exception. He has numerous amazing shoes and boots to choose from, and if I had a chance, I would buy all of them! Unfortunately so far I don’t have such a huge and amazing closet as Mariah Carrey, but one day, one day!

Cesare Paciotti is one of my most favorite brands for footwear this season! I loved their boots and super sexy shoes. I loved them from the moment I saw an ad in the latest “Elle” magazine. Won’t be satisfied until I get them! Thanks God they have boutique here in Puerto Banus, hate to buy footwear online.

I have special feelings towards Chanel. I think I will be wearing all their clothes and shoes when I am over 50, because they are perfect and feminine! But I believe that all rich girls need to have a couple of things from Chanel while they are young too, like bags and shoes. I really loved the shoes and flats from their Fall/Winter 2010 / 2011 Pre Collection.

Gucci!! I love Gucci, everything they do is just perfect! It is hard for me to choose high heel boots, but I am happy that this season Gucci has even two designs for boots which I love. For this season I selected the following Rich Girl’s favorites:

Rich Celebrity Girls’ Power!

I like to check Forbes lists occasionally and this time I really loved their “The Celebrity 100″. You will be pleased to know that there are 6 girls among the top 10 powerful celebrities!
On the first place is Oprah Winfrey! I really admire this woman, she manages to keep high position in the celebrity tops through years (although last year the first place was taken by Angelina Jolie). She is great achiever!

Second place is taken by Beyonce Knowles. She is not only making money on her music (according to Forbes, her 90-plus date global tour grossed more than $85 million), but she also has her House of Dereon fashion line, released her first fragrance, Heat, earlier this year and has a lot of other projects.

On the third place is James Cameron thanks to his amazing job with Avatar. I know that a lot of people watched this movie a couple of times, I only could make it once, but I loved it.
Lady Gaga – is the sensation! That’s why I am not surprised that she in on the 4th place in the list! Girls, make something extraordinary, unique, don’t be afraid of what people will think about you, and you will end up rich and famous, just like Lady Gaga!

Tiger Woods – well, he is on the 5th place, but I don’t want to talk a lot about him. Cheating men are pathetic!
Britney Spears, my love, is on the 6th place and I am so happy that she is back. We all have our ups and downs, but something we can learn from Britney is how to win everything back!

U2 is on the 7th place. I am sorry U2 fans, but I know a little about this band. All I know is that they have breathtaking shows and my friends who saw them perform live were amazed! No wonder that each tour stop brings U2 $10 million in gross ticket sales. This is the highest-earning band on the planet, according to Forbes.
Sandra Bullock is the highest-earning actress thanks to the latest two hit movies (The Proposal and The Blind Side). She also got an Oscar win this year! The only downside is the divorce with the cheating husband. Why sometimes it seems that you can’t have it all?! It’s not fare!

Johnny Depp is on the 9th place thanks to his work in Alice in Wonderland. According to Forbes, the Disney film has grossed $1 billion at the worldwide box office, making Depp the only actor to headline two $1 billion films.
Madonna is closing the top 10 of “The Celebrity 100″ list. According to Forbes, the 52-year-old singer had the fourth highest-grossing tour of 2009, bringing in $6 million a night and $138 million overall. Even I attended her “Sticky and Sweet Tour” show last August in Talinn, Estonia – it was amazing! Madonna will always remain my top favorite artist, no matter what she does, no matter what movies she is filming! I love her for the album Something to Remember! I know all the songs from this album by heart She is super power rich girl!

Marbella – wedding spot!

Marbella is not only place for rich girls, glamorous parties and fancy beach clubs, but it is also a picturesque spot to have a wedding. I just found out that one of my favorite singers Julio Iglesias got married in Marbella.
As the official statement says on Julio Iglesias website – Julio and his girlfriend Miranda got married on August 24th in the private ceremony in the parish of Virgen del Carmen of Marbella. The newlyweds will settle in the village of Ojen, not far from Marbella, where they have a large estate, Iglesias’ agent told the Press.
According to the number of beautiful white doves hanging around the beach, a lot of people decide to marry in Marbella.
As to me, I would definitely organize wedding on the beach. It is so romantic. I still remember the wedding of my friends, which I was honored to attend, the celebration took place on the beach in Antibes. It was just like in a fairytale.
